LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT emerges as the latest creation of Milan-based multi-instrumentalist and relentless sound explorer Gabriele Gramaglia (Cosmic Putrefaction, Vertebra Atlantis, Turris Eburnea, among others). Conceived in the spring of 2025, the project was born out of an urge to channel a more brutal, ravenous instinct compared to Gramaglia’s other ventures, giving shape to a merciless yet dynamic form of extreme metal.
The first demo, set for release on October 31st, 2025 via Nuclear Winter Records, consists of three tracks forged in a gritty, thick production entirely handled by Gramaglia himself. Across its span, the recording showcases fast, annihilating death metal infused with the raw energy of black and speed metal, a sonic onslaught that balances resolute aggression with moments of unsettling variation.
Adding further intensity to the project, session drummer Claudio Invidia (Defacement, Devoid of Thought) contributes relentless percussion, underpinning a surge of scorching riffs, despairing screams and merciless rhythmic assaults. The result is a wall of sound that makes no compromises, embodying Gramaglia’s vision of feral, unchained heaviness.

Acidground are back with an unmissable release: “Dirty Songs”, an album that brings together all the tracks from their two EPs “2 Hands” and “Evil Blues”, now remastered and ready to drag the listener into a dark, raw, and powerful journey through fragility, pain, and rebellion.
A union of contrasting souls:
On one side, the melancholy and introspection of 2 Hands, where the band explores depression, addictions, distant loves, and the misunderstandings that break relationships apart.
On the other, the hypnotic force of Evil Blues, the manifesto of the project, with songs ranging from the dirtiest grunge to distorted blues, up to the surprising reinterpretation of Cry Little Sister (soundtrack of the cult movie The Lost Boys).
VINS – The dark soul of Acidground Behind the voice and lyrics of Acidground lies Vins, stage name Bound, the founder and beating heart of the project. His story is an intense and multifaceted journey:
He took his first steps at 18 with punk and rock cover bands.
He experimented with different genres, from pop to reggae to extreme metal, building a unique and versatile vocal background.
At the same time, he began writing lyrics and vocals for other musicians, falling deeper in love with grunge and stoner rock, which would become his signature style.
In 2013, he met Fabrizio “Drago Balcano” Sodaro, with whom he created the first prototype of the Acidground style under the name “Fabrizio Sodaro RISE THE SUN”. Since then, Vins has carried the vision of the project forward, composing all the tracks that defined the band’s identity: a powerful and personal blend of grunge and stoner rock. Alongside Fabrizio, he also launched HybridCode, a project dedicated to Cyber Rock/Metal sounds.
DIRTY SONGS is not just an album: it is the sonic portrait of a tormented and rebellious soul, the raw and authentic diary of Acidground, ready to strike anyone who lets themselves be swept away by their sound.
Following the release of her 2024 live CD and DVD album 20 Years of Blues Rock!, and her critically acclaimed 2025 studio album Smell The Roses, internationally acclaimed guitarist, and singer songwriter Erja Lyytinen is pleased to announce three UK concerts in November 2025 – Bridgewater, Bar Brunell (Nov 13), Tenby Blues Festival (Nov 14), and London, The Half Moon Putney (Nov 18). Tickets available are from https://erjalyytinen.com/tour.
To coincide with the news of her UK concerts, Erja has just released a fantastic music video for “Going To Hell,” – the latest single taken from her Smell The Roses album. The music video is available to watch on YouTube, below.
“Going to Hell is one of my favourite songs from Smell The Roses,” says Erja. “We decided to shoot a music video for the song where a dashing devil wreathed in flame amps up the passion. We had never used fire as an element in our music videos, and that made the video shoot especially thrilling!”
Continues Erja, “The core message of the song comes to life in a visual format. The blues was once thought of as the devil’s music, and that notion is contrasted with the truth of the matter, that no one is superior or inferior to their fellow human beings, even if they’ve managed to convince themselves that they are.”
“So, without further ado, let’s play our way down to Hell!”
Erja’s Smell The Roses album is available on CD and vinyl via the official Erja Lyytinen Store. Order the album and various merchandise bundles, including a selection of exclusive Smell The Roses t-shirts and tote bag from https://erjalyytinen.com/store.

German heavy and dark rock powerhouse WOLFSKULL have released a new video for the song “Netherworld In Flames,” taken from their current album Midnite Masters, that is out on Metalapolis Records / SPV!
The track itself is a full-throttle anthem, written with the spirit of classic heavy metal in mind and executed with the band’s unmistakable bite. “Our fourth video single ‘Netherworld In Flames’ is pure adrenaline – a no-compromise banger that hits straight from the start. That’s why we paired it with a Live In The Raw video that captures our raw energy in its purest form,”says guitarist Bjørn Fehl.“When writing the song, we drew some inspiration from the vibes of classic DIO tracks like Night People or I Speed At Night, but of course with our unmistakable WOLFSKULL DNA. This track is all about fun: we want to see banging heads and raised fists in the front rows!”
The video delivers exactly that: a raw, unfiltered stage performance caught on camera, translating the band’s firepower into pure visuals. No fancy concepts, no storyline distractions—just the five-piece in their natural environment, pushing amps, lights and audience energy to the limit. Watch the video clip streaming here:
“Netherworld In Flames” stands as one of the fiercest cuts on Midnite Masters, a record that sees the band evolve their sound while staying true to their roots in dark heavy rock. Recorded with producer Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studio (Anvil, Suicide Angels, Dew Scented, Temple of Dread, among others), the album captures the atmosphere of midnight rides, hidden corners of the night, and the pulse of the underground—an energy that finds its most explosive form on stage. With the new video, WOLFSKULL invite fans directly into that space: close, loud, and raw.
Founded in early 2018, WOLFSKULL immediately garnered attention in the scene with their debut EP, Hexum, lauded as the “Tip Of The Month” in Rock Hard Magazine and “Heroes Of Tomorrow” in Metal Hammer Germany. The subsequent debut album, Ave Goddess, hit like a thunderclap in December 2022: voted as the “Album Of The Month” in Metal Hammer and Guitar Magazine, they also landed opening slots for Skid Row and an exclusive WDR Rockpalast TV gig as part of the Crossroads Festival series.
In 2025, WOLFSKULL returned louder, detached, and with even more drive. With the arrival of new second guitarist Mike Nero at the beginning of 2024, a noticeable breath of fresh air came into the band, which was directly reflected in the new material. Brimming with enthusiasm, power, and catchy melodies, while exuding the raw charm of classic heavy rock, the critically-acclaimed Midnite Masters offers everything that defines true heavy rock: driving riffs, powerful and captivating hooks, and a modern, uncompromising sound that hits home. Highly recommended for fans of Volbeat, Unto Others, The Cult, Ghost and Audrey Horne!
The artwork was created by renowned South African artist Simon Berndt / 1Horsetown (Queens Of The Stone Age, Jerry Cantrell, The Sword, Pentagram, Primus, among others) and visually rounds out the overall package. As Midnite Masters is a wild ride through dusty deserts, dark alleys, and rebellious motorcycle romance – a tribute to strong female heroes and characters, underdogs, and nighttime adventures. Available now via Metalapolis Records / SPV, Midnite Masterson CD, vinyl and digital formats, WOLFSKULL are here not to compromise but to deliver heavy rock at full intensity—built for raised fists, banging heads, and nights that burn long after the last note fades!
Today, the legendary band STRYPER are pleased to announce their long-awaited Christmas album, ‘The Greatest Gift of All,’ due out on November 21st via Frontiers Music Srl. To celebrate the announcement, the band also shares their new single, “Winter Wonderland,” accompanied by a lyric video, available below.
On the new album and single, Michael Sweet comments:
“We have wanted to record a Christmas album for many years. Ever since we released our first Christmas single (‘Reason for the Season’) back in 1985, the fans have been asking for a full-length Christmas album. Well, the time has finally come. We wanted to make an album of five traditional songs and five original songs, to put our own spin on our own Christmas album and not follow the pack, so to speak. We could not be more pleased with how it turned out! We obviously re-recorded ‘Reason for the Season’ and ‘Winter Wonderland,’ and we decided to go with ‘Winter Wonderland’ as the next single, just to give you an idea of what it might sound like today in 2025. We’re happy to say that we finally have our own Christmas album, and hopefully it will become a fan favorite year after year.”
With ‘The Greatest Gift of All,’ STRYPER answers decades of fan requests crafting a holiday record that blends festive classics, brand-new compositions, and their unmistakable mix of faith, power, and metal energy.
In a move that makes the release even more special, ‘The Greatest Gift of All’ will be available exclusively in physical formats. Fans can look forward to a collectible release that captures the spirit of the season in true old-school fashion.
STRYPER’s lineup remains as strong as ever, with founding members Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet, and Oz Fox joined by bassist Perry Richardson. Together, the band continues to deliver at the highest level both in the studio and on stage.
The new album arrives on the heels of STRYPER’s hugely successful world tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of their formation and the landmark album ‘When We Were Kings.’ With sold-out performances across the United States, Europe, and South America, the tour reaffirmed the group’s status as one of the most enduring and influential forces in Christian rock and heavy metal.
With over 10 million albums sold worldwide, multiple Billboard Top 40 hits, and a legacy spanning four decades, STRYPER continue to inspire generations of fans. ‘The Greatest Gift of All’ marks a powerful new chapter in that legacy, a heartfelt and celebratory album that channels the band’s hard rock fire into the timeless spirit of Christmas.
