With their widely acclaimed debut EP “Dark Kings”, TIL THE END made an impressive entrance into the melodic death metal community last year, immediately winning over a broad audience. With the release of their first full‑length album, the band now takes the next major step. The self‑titled record on LIFEFORCE RECORDS is a clear statement: an expression of confidence, artistic determination, and an unwavering focus on what matters most — the music. And the music speaks for itself.

The line‑up of the group, founded in 2023, brings together four musicians firmly rooted in the international scene: vocalist Antony Hämäläinen (Nightrage, Armageddon), guitarist Kostas Sotos (Mystic Prophecy, Crystal Tears), drummer Márton Veress (Orgy, Armageddon), and bassist/rhythm guitarist Nic Svensson (Slaves For Scores, Swede Studios). TIL THE END is their shared vehicle to pay tribute to the legendary Gothenburg sound while simultaneously pushing it forward with modern energy and a contemporary artistic vision.

LIMINAL SKY Release New Album “All Tomorrow’s Darkness”, Out Now

Liminal Sky is the rebirth of the creative partnership behind progressive post rock band Messenger, brought to life by producer Jaime Gomez Arellano and Daniel Knight. Their debut album All Tomorrow’s Darkness, featuring Mat McNerney (Hexvessel/Grave Pleasures), Kristoffer Rygg (Ulver) and members of Årabrot, Ulver and Jaga Jazzist is released today via Karisma Records.

Listen/Order the album here: https://orcd.co/liminal-sky

Jaime Gomez Arellano comment on the release: “I’m incredibly grateful for the response that All Tomorrow’s Darkness has received so far. Daniel and I spent nearly five years bringing this album to life, and it means a great deal to me, both personally and creatively.

“What started during a period of total darkness gradually became a record about loss, hope and eventually, moving forward. It also became a meditation on mortality, the fleeting nature of life and how to make peace with the certainty of death and the unknown that follows. After living with these songs for so long, it’s very rewarding to know that the feelings behind them have resonated with others.

“A huge thank you to everyone who has listened to the album, supported the project, and helped bring it to life.

“Everyone dies.
“

Liminal Sky is the meeting point of two musicians searching for a way out of the darkness. Continuing their work from their previous band Messenger, Jaime Gomez Arellano and Daniel Knight channel sadness and loss into a shared musical language. The borderland between despondency and tear-stained hope has a name: Liminal Sky.

Progressive, widescreen guitars chime out, stark yet luminous, barren yet revealing as Liminal Sky layers and climaxes each song to a heady reverberating crescendo. The instrumentation on All Tomorrow’s Darkness is seamlessly eclectic, and spirited by a constellation of guest musicians and voices who appear throughout. Mat McNerney’s vocals and lyrics on six of the album’s nine tracks form the backbone of the record. Crafting the lyrics and vocal arrangements together with Gomez and Knight in Finland to establish the soul of their debut album, McNerney’s words articulate the album’s terrain. Having recently lost his mother, McNerney brought a profound personal resonance with songs like ‘In Some Secret Universe’ and ‘Algebra of Unknowing’ expanding the album’s honesty and depth.

Other voices move through All Tomorrow’s Darkness like spectral presences: Kristoffer Rygg (Ulver) brings a fragile, shimmering intensity to two tracks, while Karin Park (Årabrot) adds raw emotional gravity to ‘Penance,’ and Daniel O’Sullivan (Ulver, Æthenor, Grumbling Fur, Årabrot collaborator) provides a haunting vocal invocation on the title track. Around them, instrumental colours bloom across the record’s expanse with Lars Horntveth (Jaga Jazzist, The National Bank) threading saxophone, synths and lap steel, while Alicia Nurho (violinist/violist in contemporary classical & experimental music) paints the album with pale, trembling strings. Anders Møller (Kåre & The Cavemen / Euroboys, Ulver live percussionist) deepens the rhythmic pulse with ritualistic percussion, Tore Ylwizaker (Ulver) in one of his last recorded performances contributes a ghostly piano refrain, and Ole Alexander Halstensgård (Ulver) shadows the soundscape with dissolving electronic textures. Finally, Matt Rozeik (Necro Deathmort) (multi-instrumentalist/producer known for atmospheric electronic and alternative rock work) adds subtle, smouldering synth tones. Every collaborator adds texture without altering direction, held together by Gomez’s careful production and cohesive sonic identity for clarity and atmosphere.

Released worldwide by Karisma Records on 19th June, All Tomorrow’s Darkness introduces Liminal Sky as a music of fearless vulnerability. It is melancholic post-rock scraped down to bone, grief and beauty without resolution. For fans of Messenger, (early) Opeth,Jeff Buckley, Ulver, The Mars Volta, Anathema, Radiohead, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Sigur Rós, and Talk Talk’s Spirit of Eden era.

All Tomorrow’s Darkness marks both an ending and a beginning: a final chapter in a long, difficult period for its creators, and the opening of a new path for Liminal Sky. Gomez has already begun writing the next Liminal Sky album. Whether out of necessity or instinct, the world of Liminal Sky continues to expand, bleakly, beautifully and lit by the faint glow that appears when all other lights have gone out.

On June 19, Norwegian rising alternative artist STORM released his new single “Give Me More”, arriving just one week before his return to Tons of Rock, Norway’s largest festival.

The track marks the beginning of a new chapter for the young artist, whose sound continues to blur the lines between rock, metalcore, trap and modern alternative music.

Listen to the track here: https://ffm.to/gmm

“Give Me More” originally started as an idea written alongside Helge Moen and Jim Bergsted before later being completely reworked by STORM and longtime collaborator Erlend Torheim.

“We turned the whole thing upside down and made it into a completely new song. It also represents a direction I’m really excited to explore further,” says STORM.

Built around massive hooks, driving guitars and unapologetic attitude, Give Me More explores the feeling of being pulled toward something you know is probably a bad idea, but wanting more of it anyway.

“It’s about that moment when something feels completely wrong, but way too good to walk away from.”

“People often ask me what genre I make, and honestly, I don’t really know myself. Metalcore? Trap? Rock? I just call it sexy trap rock ’n’ roll.”

The production was intentionally kept raw and energetic, avoiding the heavily polished approach often found in contemporary rock. Together with Torheim, STORM aimed to preserve the song’s spontaneity and live energy, while Tobias Østerdal of Fixation handled mixing and mastering.

Following the release of his debut album Join the Storm, more live shows and a growing momentum both at home and internationally, STORM continues to establish himself as one of the most exciting young names emerging from Norway’s new generation of rock artists.

With Tons of Rock just around the corner, Give Me More serves as a statement of intent for what lies ahead.

“People coming to see us this summer can expect a dangerous, high-pulse and sexy show. Give Me More is made for people who want to lose a little control.”

IF I DIE TODAY Premiere New Album “I Felt Nothing”, Out Now

No Clean Singing is now hosting the exclusive premiere of “I Felt Nothing”, the new album from Italian post-hardcore outfit IF I DIE TODAY, out since June 19, 2026.

The record marks a new chapter for the band, delivering their most intense and heaviest material to date, where huge riffs and emotionally charged vocals merge into a focused and dynamic sound. Built on the balance between heaviness and urgency, “I Felt Nothing” showcases the band’s evolution while preserving the raw energy and hardcore attitude that have always defined their identity. A powerful statement of authenticity and creative freedom.

Stream the album at THIS LOCATION.

“I Felt Nothing” arrives as the result of a slow, deliberate maturation process, during which the group has sharpened and fully defined its identity at the crossroads of hardcore, metal and rock’n’roll. The riffs are BIG and unapologetically present, yet the music never falls into uniformity, constantly shifting between tension and release through dynamic rhythmic changes and a strong sense of urgency. The overall mood is both tense and mocking, creating a constant push-and-pull between pressure and a kind of bitter, sideways irony that runs through the album’s atmosphere. On top of this solid instrumental foundation, the vocal work introduces subtle but effective variations in tone and approach, adding extra layers of character without breaking the core intensity.

The result is a complete, fluid, and highly dynamic album that reinforces IF I DIE TODAY’s status as a reliable and distinctive force within the European underground. It also reflects a heightened awareness of songwriting balance, where impact and nuance coexist without compromise, giving the record both immediacy and depth that reward repeated listens.

Tracklist:

1. Lungs
2. King
3. End (feat. Mare)
4. Dark
5. Monsters (feat. Alex Rope)
6. Rachel
7. Isolation (feat. Papero Tons)
8. Light
9. Cowards
10. 1984
11. Tar (feat. Santa Infall)

IF I DIE TODAY are an Italian post-hardcore band formed in 2007 in Northern Italy. Their sound is rooted in hardcore punk, enriched with metal and rock’n’roll influences, gradually evolving into a more hybrid and personal style over time.

After their early releases and EPs, the band significantly refined their identity with “Cursed” (2015), where they expanded their sound by blending hardcore, punk, metal, rock’n’roll and stoner elements into a more mature and distinctive formula. This evolution continued with “The Abyss In Silence” (2022), a darker and more aggressive concept album focused on grief and loss, built on epic guitar riffs, tight rhythmic structures and intense vocal delivery.

Renowned for their high-energy and uncompromising live performances, IF I DIE TODAY have toured extensively across Europe and Russia, sharing stages with bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, While She Sleeps, Beartooth, The Offspring, and many others, building a solid reputation on the live circuit.

In 2025 they released a live recording from Bloom featuring Helmet. Their upcoming album “I Felt Nothing”, due on June 19, 2026, will be released in co-production with Tifone Crew, Vollmer, Flamesdontjudge, Shove Records, Poison Hearts, Oltraggio Produzioni and Masseria Autogestita. The record was produced and mixed by Dano Battocchio at Deepest Sea Studio, mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Studio, with artwork by Alberto Becherini.

Over nearly two decades, the band has maintained a coherent yet evolving identity, balancing hardcore intensity with a broader and increasingly experimental sonic approach.

BMG, in partnership with Rhino Entertainment, announces the release of the 40th Anniversary of Ratt’s third studio album, Dancing Undercover, in a limited edition zoetrope, to be released on July 31st 2026.

PRE-ORDER HERE

This Limited Edition Gatefold LP features reimagined cover artwork, and a zoetrope vinyl with moving images of the iconic band’s logo and the members themselves, all housed in an opaque bag.

“With “Dancing Undercover”, mostly Robbin and I, wanted to get back to a place between the Ratt EP and “Cellar” records. The other guys might think differently and maybe the cracks were starting to happen, but all of us were all over the songs. I like the record, and for a minute or so Robbin and I accomplished what we wanted to as best we could. That was to make a tougher album. We were so committed to doing shows at that time. It was finding time off for writing and preproduction”.SEPearcy, founder lead singer songwriter of RATT.

Formed in Los Angeles, RATT was featured as an unsigned act on Uncle Joe Benson’s Local Licks Drive Time Show on KLOS-FM.  This was their first time on radio and led to their signing to Atlantic Records.

RATT exploded on to the national scene in 1984 with the release of ‘Out Of The Cellar.’ Featuring an undeniable hook and legendary music video, lead single “Round And Round” hit #12 on the Billboard Hot 100, while ‘Out Of The Cellar’ reached #7 on the Billboard Top 200 and was certified triple platinum. Two more charting singles followed with “Back For More” and “Wanted Man”. RATT started the tour as an opening act, but by the end of the tour had climbed to arena headliner.

RATT returned in 1985 with their 2nd full length album, ‘Invasion Of Your Privacy.’ Certified double platinum and also reaching #7 on the Billboard Top 200, ‘Invasion of Your Privacy’ also featured the classics “Lay It Down” (#40 Billboard Hot 100) and “You’re In Love”.

‘Dancing Undercover’ followed in 1986 as RATT toured North America with a brand new LA band called POISON as the opening act. The lead single “Dance” hit the Billboard Hot 100 and spawned another music video hit with “Slip Of The Lip”, while “Body Talk” was featured in a key scene in the Eddie Murphy film, ‘The Golden Child’. ‘Dancing Undercover’ became RATT’s 3rd consecutive PLATINUM album and reached #26 on the Billboard Top 200.

Dancing Undercover features the classic line up of Stephen Pearcy (vocals), Warren DeMartini (guitars), Robbin Crosby (guitars), Juan Croucier (bass/vocals), and Bobby Blotzer (drums).

CARMINE APPICE & CACTUS Release New Video for ‘Back Door Man’, Described as Urban Ghost Story

Posted by tarjavirmakari on June 21, 2026

Carmine Appice and Cactus have released a new video for the track “Back Door Man”, taken from the new Cactus album “Temple Of Blues II” out now on Cleopatra Records. The track and video feature the amazing talents of Eric Gales and Billy Sheehan, alongside Carmine Appice.

  • Temple Of Blues II digital: https://orcd.co/cactus_templeofbluesii

Carmine Appice shared his thoughts on on the song and video “Back Door Man” — “Back Door Man” is an old blues classic. This version originally appeared on Howlin’ Wolf’s The Howlin’ Wolf Album (often referred to as his “Electric Album”).

This time, I wanted to make a real blues album for Temple of Blues 2. Temple of Blues 1was made up entirely of Cactus songs. I’ve always loved the Howlin’ Wolf album, which also gave Cactus our biggest song, “Evil.” We ended up recording seven songs from that album, and I always thought “Back Door Man” was one of the strongest tracks.

We cut the song with my Cactus guitarist, Artie Dillon, and then I started thinking about who should sing and play on it. I wanted a great blues artist, so I called Eric Gales and asked him to be part of the track. Then I thought Billy Sheehan would be perfect for it, creating a killer blues trio.

Billy was amazing on the track, even throwing in some lead guitar-style lines alongside Eric while still locking in with the drums. Eric’s vocals and guitar playing were incredible. When I arranged the song, I pushed the tempo up and changed the energy. Eric thought one section was meant for the drums, so he sent it back. I told him, “No, it’s for you to kick ass!” When I got it back, the three of us had created something really special.

The combination of great blues, powerful performances, and incredible energy brought the track to life. Then Pat Regan mixed it, and it sounds awesome.

The video has its own story. It all started at our Cactus charity show at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, Illinois, where we filmed all of the performance footage. From there, Dom Esposito and I spent hours talking about the concept. Dom than spent countless hours editing and re-editing the video until he got the story exactly right.

What started as a straightforward performance video evolved into a full-blown urban ghost story starring Eric Gales, Billy Sheehan, and yours truly. We wanted something that was more than just a band playing—we wanted atmosphere, mystery, attitude, and a little bit of old-school MTV magic.

The finished video captures the spirit of the song perfectly. It’s got that classic ’80s MTV feel from a time when music videos were events and every song had a story to tell. Eric Gales delivers an incredible performance, Billy Sheehan is on fire, and together we brought this blues classic to life with a whole new level of power and excitement.

Turn it up, watch it loud, and enjoy the ride.

— Carmine Appice

Now the Temple opens again, this time for an all-star aggregation that recalls Ted Nugent, Billy Sheehan, Bumblefoot, Dee Snider and Pat Travers from volume one, alongside an all-new wave of heavy hitters including Steve Morse (Deep Purple), Tracii Guns (L.A. Guns), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple), Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot), Alex Skolnick (Testament), and a whole lot more!

The original Cactus grew out of Appice’s past experiences with Vanilla Fudge and Beck Bogart and Appice, debuting in 1970 with a self-titled album and an immediate impact on the live circuit. And Temple Of Blues II takes us back to their birth. That summer, Cactus were among the main attractions at the Isle of Wight Festival in England, and the new album’s “Purple Haze” reunites them with both another of that bill’s audience favorites, Melanie, and its overall headliner, Jimi Hendrix.

Elsewhere on this thunderous sequel, Pat Travers returns for the mighty “Moanin’ At Midnight,” Joe Lynn Turner joins Morse, Carmine’s Guitar Zeus bandmate Tony Franklin and Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater) for “Bad Stuff,” Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) and Tracii Guns (L.A. Guns) lead the way for “The Little Red Rooster,” and Ted Nugent and Bob Daisley (Rainbow) join forces for an astonishing “Spoonful.”

But every track here expands the raw blues rock vision of volume one with even more fire, swagger, and authority. And Carmine, of course, anchors the proceedings with his unmistakable power, groove, and feel, driving every track and reaffirming his status as one of the most influential drummers in rock history.

Track List:

1. Back Door Man Pt. 1 & 2 feat. Eric Gales & Billy Sheehan
2. 300 Pounds Of Joy feat. Ty Tabor
3. Moanin’ At Midnight feat. Pat Travers
4. Down In The Bottom feat. Dug Pinnick
