This is the bold, direct, and deeply meaningful title of the new single by SIXBASS, set for release on June 4, 2025, via Wanikiya Record/Promotion. A track that stands as an existential manifesto and a punch in the gut to today’s society, where the value of an individual is often reduced to a superficial judgement, and those who are “different” or authentic are often forgotten or underestimated.
“In a system that wants us selfish and alone,” says SIXBASS, “it’s becoming more and more common to find a handful of stones in our pockets instead of precious gems. But our worth doesn’t depend on someone else’s ability to recognize it.”
With this powerful message, SIXBASS not only returns to the music scene, but also makes her official entry into the roster of Wanikiya Record/Promotion – a label and press office that has become a major reference point for both the national and international rock and metal scenes.
WHO IS SIXBASS
Born Silvia Casetta, widely known and respected in the music world as SixBass, she is a bassist and artist with extraordinary sensitivity. Her journey is one of passion, setbacks, and rebirth. She began expressing herself through the arts at a very young age, and when she first discovered the electric bass in 1995, she found the perfect instrument to channel her inner strength.
From her beginnings with Sistema Nervoso (finalists at Sanremo Rock 2001), to significant experiences with Jigabitez – opening for Marco Mendoza and Stef Burns – and her stint with Five Ways to Nowhere, SIXBASS has always brought her gritty, visceral, and deeply personal style to the stage.
After a long forced break due to health reasons, SIXBASS has returned to the scene with renewed strength and a more mature artistic awareness. Following the release of the single Pioggia in April 2025 and her participation in the Rock Musae event, she is now ready to write a new chapter in her musical story.
