LOVE MACHINE Enter SoundsRock Agency Roster

SoundsRock Agency is thrilled to announce the signing of LOVE MACHINE!

LOVE MACHINE are one of the most historical and prolific bands in the Italian Hard Rock and Heavy Metal scene.

Founded in Milan in 1987, the sextet has spent nearly four decades forging a powerful sound that blends classic Hard Rock with German style Heavy Metal influences and a strong focus on melody.

The current lineup features Rob Della Frera (Lead Vocals), Frank T Raider (Guitar), Luca “Doc” Pivetti (Guitar), Lele Triton (Keyboards), Yako Martini (Bass), and Andrew Dal Zio (Drums).

Their 1989 self-titled debut immediately launched Love Machine into relentless live touring across Italy, but it was their second, more aggressive album, Hungry For Your Love (1992), that captured international critical acclaim. The album was a hit, sparking a massive promotional tour of over 130 shows across clubs, festivals, and biker shows.

Their constant presence on the live scene led them to share the stage as special guests and supporting acts for absolute legends of the genre, including British metal icons SAXON (during their 1995 Dogs of War Anniversary Tour), GOTTHARD, the legendary W.A.S.P. (on the Kill Fuck Die European Tour), as well as Hard Rock and Sleaze heavyweights such as The Quireboys, Pretty Boy Floyd, and Warrior Soul.

Their third album, The Nite (1997), delivered a grittier, heavier sound that solidified the band’s balance between heavy metal and melodic hooks, preceding a temporary hiatus and the subsequent 2010 remaster of Hungry For Your Love via Steelheart Records.

Following several lineup changes over the years, the band found renewed stability around 2012 with the arrival of frontman Rob Della Frera and bassist Yako Martini. This “musical and spiritual rebirth” brought Love Machine back to their natural element, the stage, resulting in their first official live album, Alive’ N ‘Well (2013).

In 2018, the band marked a defining turning point with their fifth studio album, Universe of Mind. The record charted a new creative direction and was backed by numerous dates in major clubs and venues, including opening slots for Kissin’ Dynamite and Thomas Silver.

In early 2026, Love Machine released their highly anticipated sixth studio album, In Time, introducing Luca “Doc” Pivetti to complete the six-piece lineup. Driven by this solid roster and a catalog that merges pure Metal power with an unmatched legacy on international stages, Love Machine stand firm as true pillars of an ever-evolving Hard & Heavy scene.

In 2027, Love Machine will officially celebrate 40 years together. To mark four decades of music, the band is currently locked in the studio working on a special project, a tribute to their roots reimagined through the power and maturity of their current lineup and sound, crafted for both longtime fans and a new generation of listeners.

Japanese Composer HAPPY SAD Releases New Music Video for ‘The flow of time’

Visionary music composer Happy Sad continues to expand his ambient classical universe with the release of the new music video for “The Flow of Time,” taken from the album The World Is Grand When We See, out via Epictronic.

Rooted in post-classical expression, “The Flow of Time” blends acoustic piano, string arrangements, ambient synthesizers, and subtle environmental recordings. The result is a soundscape shaped by movement and stillness at once, where texture carries as much weight as melody.

The track reflects a strong visual and compositional sensibility. Flowing water recordings sit beneath evolving piano phrases, creating a sense of continuity and impermanence. Ambient synth layers appear at key structural points, adding depth without disrupting the natural pacing of the piece.

Happy Sad describes an indirect influence from contemporary French minimal composition built around limited harmonic material, where development emerges through restraint rather than expansion. That idea translates here into a focus on space, repetition, and gradual transformation.

There is also a clear painterly approach to the sound design. The music behaves like a layered landscape, where foreground and background shift in tonal clarity. Distant elements feel softened, as if filtered through multiple atmospheric layers, echoing the way depth alters perception in visual art.

Field recordings remain an essential part of the process. Water sounds, captured personally by the composer over time, reappear as part of the sonic architecture. These moments ground the composition in physical reality, balancing the more abstract instrumental writing.

“The Flow of Time” stands as a study in transition, where nothing remains fixed and meaning is found in movement itself.

About the Artist: The Architect of Sound

Happy Sad is the solo project of Hiroaki, a Japanese artist and sound professional based in the game industry. He began making music during his student years, playing café bar gigs and recording demos. His influences take in soul, British rock, folk, trip hop, neoclassical, world music, and film scores, alongside a strong connection to literature. His recordings balance live instrumentation with programmed elements. To date, Happy Sad has released seven albums and 19 EPs.

Outside of music, Hiroaki has around 14 years of experience as a Sound Designer and Sound Director in the games industry, having contributed to over 60 projects at companies including NetEase Games, FunPlus, NHN PlayArt, and Noisycroak Inc. His work spans music composition, sound design, audio direction, and promotional video production. In 2013, his track “Everyday” won the domestic DJ category and reached the finals of MTV and Lenovo’s CO:LAB contest.

In recent years, Hiroaki has travelled across ten countries in search of sounds and traditional instruments. Encounters along the way with displaced communities have shaped his approach to music as a form of shared human expression.

LUMSK Release Second Single ‘Haust på Torget’ from Upcoming Album

Karisma Records is proud to announce the new album from the Norwegian folk/prog collective Lumsk. The band returns with Einsemda, a dark, emotional and deeply atmospheric new album based on selected poems by Tor Jonsson (1916-1951). Einsemda is set to be released on Karisma Records on the 30th of October.

Following their acclaimed return after a long hiatus with Fremmede Toner, Lumsk have continued to refine their distinctive blend of progressive metal, folk rock and evocative Nordic storytelling. On Einsemda, the band moves even deeper into the emotional core of the material, shaping music that amplifies the tension, vulnerability, beauty and darkness of Jonsson’s poetry.

The second single from the album is the track Haust på Torget, which you can check out here:
https://orcd.co/lumskhaust

Lumsk has this to say about Haust på Torget:
On this second single, our interpretation of “Haust på torget”, Jonsson’s dark poetry melts effortlessly together with Lumsk’s music. The result is a powerful union where folk traditions meet modern weight to capture the fleeting nature of autumn and life.

The album features the poems “Einsemda,” “Vona”, “Mogning,” “Haust på Torget,” “Å Dikte,” “Eg er liv av ei kvinnes død” and “Daudmannhaugen.” Jonsson’s writing is known for its lyrical clarity, emotional intensity and stark contrasts between hope and despair, closeness and distance, life and death — a natural match for Lumsk’s powerful and nuanced sound.

Lumsk has this to say about the album and Jonsson’s poetry:
There is an emotional intensity in Tor Jonsson’s poetry that immediately resonated with us. We wanted the music to stay close to that nerve — not soften it, but bring it fully to life.
After Fremmede Toner, we knew we wanted to go deeper in the same direction. Einsemda feels more unified, more vulnerable, and more emotionally direct. We are incredibly proud of this album and excited to finally share it. It feels honest, powerful and true to both the poetry and the band.

The music is composed by Espen W. Godø, except “Å Dikte,” composed by Roar Grindheim. The album was primarily recorded in the band members’ home studios, with vocals, organ, piano and additional guitars recorded at Autumnsongs Recording Studio. Together with Rhys Marsh, Espen W. Godø and Espen Hammer worked closely on the production and mixing of the album, resulting in a record the band feels captures both the intimacy and the weight of the material.

With artwork by Per Spjøtvold, the tracklist for Einsemda is:
1. Daudmannhaugen
2. Eg er Liv av ei Kvinnes Død
3. Haust på Torget
4. Å Dikte
5. Vona og Mogning
6. Einsemda

Einsemda will be released on the 30th of October in CD, Digital and Gold Vinyl formats, and is available to pre-order now from:
Bandcamp: https://lumsk.bandcamp.com
Webshop: https://shop.karismarecords.no/
US webshop: https://www.indiemerchstore.com/collections/lumsk

This is an album that matters. For those who already know Lumsk – and for everyone who has yet to discover them.

Lumsk are Mari Klingen (vocals), Espen Warankov Godø (keyboards/Hammond/piano), Eystein Garberg and Roar Grindheim (guitars), Siv Lena Laugtug Sæther (violin), Espen Hammer (bass) and Vidar Berg (drums).

Lumsk will celebrate the release of Einsemda with a release concert at Rockheim in Trondheim on the 7th of November.

BLOMST Challenge Power And False Strength on New Single ‘Muskelbunt’

BLOMST challenge power and false strength on new single “Muskelbunt”!
With “Muskelbunt”, the band turns its attention towards those who seemingly possess power, money and influence, but may lack the courage to actually use it to make a difference.

The song explores what power really means and who can truly be considered strong.
At a time when more and more people claim to have the formula for becoming rich, popular and successful, BLOMST questions whether money and status actually say anything about a person’s character.

Listen to the single here: https://ffm.to/muskelbunt

“The song is about those in society who seemingly have the power and the ‘muscles’ to influence things, but who are actually cowards. It is easy to look strong when you have money, status and influence, but that does not necessarily make you brave.”

The song also carries a criticism of people with enormous resources and opportunities who still choose personal comfort over using their position to create meaningful change.

“Having power and money does not automatically make you brave or kind. When sacrificing your own comfort and wealth could help create a better society, that suddenly becomes a very difficult choice.”

With “Muskelbunt”, BLOMST continues to combine sharp observations with a direct and uncompromising expression. The result is a song that challenges ideas about success, strength and power, reminding us that having muscles does not necessarily mean you are strong.

BLOMST released “Muskelbunt” on September 25.

Steve ‘n’ Seagulls Singer REMMEL Releases New Solo Single ‘Stars Align’

Remmel & Rattlesnakes’ debut EP (Little Western Songs From The North) gets a follow-up as the single “Stars Align” hits the airwaves today. The single is released by Oulu-based Palabell Records and distributed by Playground Music Finland.

“When life has its dark moments, you find yourself hoping you could just enjoy the simple things. You might tell yourself, ‘I’m not asking for much, just a little.’ This song was born out of those kinds of feelings. It captures the vibe of late summer and early fall, which is why this song ended up being released now. The next songs are also already finished,” Remmel says about the track and what’s to come.

Listen to the “Stars Align” on music services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube Music etc.): https://push.fm/fl/remmelrattlesnakes-starsalign

–ISRC: FI6PR2600044
–Composer: Remmel
–Lyricist: Remmel
–Arrangement: Remmel & Jarkko Viinamäki

The song was created in close collaboration with producer Jarkko Viinamäki. Remmel & Rattlesnakes is a music collective, and the lineup can vary from one release to the next. As a result, according to Remmel, the approach taken this time differed from that of the previous release.

“There’s no fixed lineup for this project, although Viinamäki and drummer Esa Starck form the core of the group. This time the drummer was unavailable, so Jarkko and I played and sang all the parts during the recording sessions. I hadn’t played drums in a studio in years, but it all came together. Jarkko played bass, sang backing vocals, and we played guitars and other instruments together. Remmel & Rattlesnakes is important to me, as are the people involved in it. We make music among friends, and we believe that comes across…”

Remmel & Rattlesnakes is a solo band and music collective founded in 2025 by Remmel, the singer-guitarist of Steve’n’Seagulls, a band that tours extensively in Finland and abroad. The songs are primarily conceived in his head and are then brought to life collaboratively. In addition to producer-musician Jarkko Viinamäki and drummer Esa Starck, a varying number of friends and local musicians make guest appearances on the tracks.

Musicians:
Jarkko Viinamäki: Bass, guitar, backing vocals, keyboards, arrangement, production, mixing, mastering
Remmel: Vocals, guitar, keyboards, drums, composition, lyrics, arrangement
