Metalitalia.com and Eagle Booking Live Promotion are proud to announce the first confirmed bands for the new edition of the Metalitalia.com Festival, set to take place Saturday, September 10th 2016 at Live Music Club in Trezzo Sull’Adda (Milan, Italy):
Legendary thrash metal veterans SODOM will be one of the co-headliners of this year’s edition. These Germans have always been extremely popular in Italy and we are very happy to bring them back for what is going to be their only Italian performance for 2016. The band is working on a new album and we are looking forward to hear new songs along with a lot of classic numbers!
We are also very proud to welcome the melodic death metal heroes DARK TRANQUILLITY to our festival for the very first time! Italian fans have always been very loyal to this band and maybe their co-headlining show will be a chance to listen to some of the new material the Swedish guys have been working on over the past months.
It does not end here though, as we are absolutely thrilled to announce that the recently reformed
DEMOLITION HAMMER will play Metalitalia.com Festival 2016! We know that for a festival environment like ours there is no better band than the guys from New York. We defy anyone not to mosh and headbang along to the hits from classic albums such as “Tortured Existence” and “Epidemic Of Violence“. The band’s reunion has been hailed with massive enthusiasm by fans and press, leading to shows selling out in a matter of minutes, and we cannot wait to welcome them in Italy. Will you be able to withstand the violence?

Live Music Club (www.liveclub.it) with its advanced technical equipment is one of the most important and renowned venues in Europe for indoor events. Awarded in 2012 as the best Italian music club, the location also offers free parking, connections with the Milan public transports and a big outdoor area where you will find merchandise and CDs stalls, meet & greet, lounge, food and bar. Moreover, at the first floor the Live Club Restaurant with its 100 seats is the best place to eat with an exclusive view of the stage.

The band comments: “As a band, we always want our all our recordings – even the earliest ones – to be available to everyone that’s interested, so we’re please to announced that the re-mastered versions of “Skydancer” (1993) and “Of chaos and eternal night” (1995) now are released as invididual vinyl discs and a joint CD. Those who want to check out where it all begins should look no further.”On a more live-relatead note, DARK TRANQUILLITY is getting ready to embark on the “Uniformity” European tour (suppored by Amoral, Acyl and The Lehmann Project), which will kick off in Berlin in two weeks. “We’re fine tuning the setlist as we speak and are looking forward to delivering a great string of shows with some surprises thrown in.
