Swedish melodic death metallers ENGEL are confirmed as special guest on AT THE GATES‘ “At War With Reality Tour” in Japan, on February 9 at Liquid Room (Tokyo) February 10 at Club Quattro (Nagoya) and February 12 at Umeda Akaso (Osaka). For ticket information, visit: http://www.atthegates.se

Just recently ENGEL was confirmed as special guest on AMARANTHE‘s Massive Addictive Tour in Europe. The support comes from SANTA CRUZ. The 24 shows’ tour kicks off on March 10th in Nijmegen – Netherlands, then passing through Germany, Belgium, UK, France, Spain, Sweitzerland, Italy, Austria, Hungary and Poland. “Raven Kings”, the highly anticipated forth album of ENGEL was released on November 26, via GAIN Production. The album is produced by the bands founders Marcus Sunesson and Niclas Engelin  and is was mixed by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat). Recently ENGEL released the first video “Salvation” from the album, watch it below:

ENGEL emerged on to the world stage with the release of the critically acclaimed debut album “Absolute Design” in 2007. Confronted with high expectations and certainly a force to be reckoned with in their own right, Engel have established them selves as one of the most stunningly impressive and stylish acts in their genre. Now it’s time to unleash the true potential of this Swedish group and with the soon to be released “Raven Kings”!

ENGEL lineup 2014:

Guitarists Marcus Sunesson (THE CROWN) and Niclas Engelin (IN FLAMES, DRÖMRIKET, PASSENGER, GARDENIAN), vocalist Mikael Sehlin (DEGRADEAD), bassist Steve Drennan (LOCUS) and drummer Oscar Nilsson.

Swedish melodic death metallers ENGEL give a New Year’s Eve gift to their loyal fans, an unreleased track “Untouchable” from the band’s new album, Raven Kings, on its vinyl edition, to be released in early 2015, via GAIN Production.

Wow! You did a splendid job with streaming Raven Kings and as we promised we’d give you a gift for New Years Eve. Here you go! An UNRELEASED TRACK from the Raven Kings sessions!! Swedish metal icons IN FLAMES performed recently in Milan – Italy, and what could be a better chance to have a pleasant chat talking about the band’s latest album “Siren Charms” which came out on September 9, via Sony/RED. Tarja Virmakari sat down on the stairs with the band’s guitarist Niclas Engelin (IN FLAMES, DRÖMRIKET, PASSENGER, GARDENIAN), in between the football and dinner time. The topics were mostly of Siren Charms, but as ENGEL‘s new album is released today (November 26th, via GAIN Production), Tarja couldn’t resist and ask also about Raven Kings. “Raven Kings”, the highly anticipated forth album of Swedish melodic death metallers ENGEL is unleashed today, via GAIN Production. The album is produced by the bands founders Marcus Sunesson and Niclas Engelin  and is mixed by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat). To celebrate the release, the band has just premiered the first video “Salvation”, taken from “Raven Kings”, watch it below.

Guitarist Marcus Sunesson commented on the video:
“The ground crumbles, the skies darken and the hills shake as the last music on earth is heard from a mountain top. Four dark figures, still standing. Sounds that paint a fitting masterpiece to accompany the elemental chaos. There is no Sanctuary from the apocalypse, no Salvation. And yet, that is precisely what they offer. Speaking not of good or evil, instead they offer stark reality”.
