METALHEADS FOREVER, one of the biggest metal entities out there (having today more than 153K members, led by David Maloney) and Alpha Omega’s partner since February 2018, have posted online their June 2019 issue, featured by Alpha Omega’s ALBERTO RIGONI, ANIMAE SILENTES, AUTHORITY alongside EXODUS, THY ART IS MURDER, ENTOMBED, and many more!
ENTOMBED featuring original members Nicke Andersson, Uffe Cederlund and Alex Hellid invite you to hear the unique experience of the band performing their second album “Clandestine” in full live for the first time ever for the album’s 25th Anniversary.
Threeman Recordings presents Act 2: The Entombed performance – A concert in two acts based entirely on the Swedish band’s acclaimed album “Clandestine” from 1991. It is a unique concert where the pioneering album is played from beginning to end. From the opening track “Living Dead” to closer “Through The Collonades “.
In the first act, the Malmö Symphony Orchestra and Choir performs Clandestine, arranged for orchestra by Thomas Von Wachenfeldt (Wachenfeldt), with the original members from Entombed sitting in as part of the ensemble. In the second act, the band performs the entire album live in the original version for the very first time.
Alex Hellid comments: “It is amazing to experience the musical journey with an orchestra and we really enjoyed the experience”
Conductor Josef Rhedin adds: “Allowing Entombed’s suggestive music to meet Symphony Orchestra and Choir is a very creative and exciting concept. Composer Thomas Von Wachenfeldt’s arrangement contains challenges for both orchestral musicians and for me as a conductor, as the starting point has been to interpret the “Clandestine” in a classical, symphonic format, rather than plank the music outright”
‘CLANDESTINE – LIVE” will be released on CD, CD bundle with exclusive T-Shirt & 2LP 180gr Deluxe Vinyl incl. Poster on Threeman Recordings on May 17, 2019. Pre-Order here: http://smarturl.it/TRE032PRESS

As previously announced, L-G Petrov, Nico Elgstrand, Victor Brandt and Olle Dahlstedt will continue under the name ENTOMBED A.D. to release the album Back To The Front, which is due out August 4th in Europe and August 5th in North America via Century Media Records. Check out Back To The Front’s first single, “Bedlam Attack”, here:
You can also download the track as a free MP3 HERE.
Vocalist L-G Petrov comments: “It was the first song we recorded for the album, fitting that it’s the first one out! We had a hard time getting it right due to its somewhat unorthodox arrangement. Took its bloody time before everybody started to really like it, now we do though, and very much so, thank Satan! It’s about losing one’s mind in a mental hospital. Obviously you’ve lost it already since you’re locked in. This is about when you really lose it and realize that you have to get out before things go completely tits up inside your head. All the while knowing deep inside that you will never get out.”
Back To The Front was recorded at Studio Bohus in Kungalv, Sweden with producer Roberto Laghi (IN FLAMES, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR). The cover artwork was painted by Zbigniew Bielak (WATAIN, VADER, etc.).
ENTOMBED A.D. are:
L-G Petrov – vocals
Nico Elgstrand – guitars
Victor Brandt – bass
Olle Dahlstedt – drums
Sliptrick Records issues that the Original ENTOMBED members Alex Hellid (guitar), Ulf “Uffe” Cederlund (guitar) and Nicke Andersson (drums) will rejoin forces to perform the band’s classic second album, “Clandestine” (1991), on February 1, 2014 at Gävle Konserthus in Gävle, Sweden. They will be backed by the 65-piece Gävle Symphonic Orchestra and a 40-piece choir.
Says Alex: “We will be performing ‘Clandestine’ as arranged by Thomas Von Wachenfeldt and it will be the first time in 17 years that me, Uffe and Nicke play together again as ENTOMBED.”

Legendary Swedish death metallers ENTOMBED have teamed up with Pledge Music to launch a reissue campaign for some of their favourite albums including DCLXVI – To Ride Shoot Straight And Speak The Truth, Same Difference and Uprising.
The band has checked in with the following update:
“Thank you all so much for pledging and making us reach our goal to fund the first three(man) re-issues!
Here’s a classical version of ‘Blessed Be’ from our second album Clandestine performed by the Nordic Chamber Orchestra at Tonhallen in Sundsvall, Sweden, 12 April 2013.
February 1st, 2014 we will do it again at Gävle Konserthus, Sweden, with Gävle Symphonic (65 piece) Orchestra, 40 piece a choir and and last but not least original members Uffe Cederlund and Nicke Andersson.
We will be performing Clandestine as arranged by Thomas Von Wachenfeldt and it will be the first time in 17 years that me, Uffe (Cederlund) and Nicke (Andersson) play together again as Entombed.
We are all very excited to start working on this project and look forward to see where it’ll take us!”
Century Media Records issues that ENTOMBED just finished recording and mixing their 10th album called “Back To The Front” at Studio Bohus (Abba, Europe) in Sweden with producer Roberto Laghi (In Flames, Hardcore Superstar). The cover artwork of the new album was painted by Zbigniew Bielak (Watain, Vader, etc.). “Back To The Front” will be released worldwide through Century Media Records on October 28th in Europe and October 29th in North America. Don’t be afraid that it will sound like Abba – it’s 666% true to the ENTOMBED everybody loves. While not falling for total regression back to the early classics “Left Hand Path” or “Clandestine”, expect a total bone-crushing opus that will have fans of “Wolverine Blues”, “To Ride,…” or “Morning Star” cry tears of joy. From the morbid, pissed-off lyrics over detuned, massive riffs to the inimitable brick-heavy groove and L-G Petrov’s titanic roar, “Back To The Front” has it all, so get ready for a stone cold stunner!
L-G Petrov (vocals) comments: “After almost 7 years of studio absence we are back with a new album called Back To The Front ready to blow metalheads away around this world! Feels great to announce this deal with Century Media ! Can’t wait to let u all be a part of it!”
Jens Prueter, Head Of A&R Century Media Records Europe: “I first saw ENTOMBED in 1992 on the Gods Of Grind tour and was blown away by their merciless sound that was even back then more than just death metal. Over 20 years later they still kick ass and we are more than proud to finally welcome them to the CM family. Cheers!”
The band formed under the name NIHILIST in 1987 and changed its name to ENTOMBED in 1989. Together with Morbid (for whom singer L-G played drums), Treblinka/Tiamat, Grave and Dismember, ENTOMBED/NIHILIST belong to the earliest bands to forge the immortal Swedish death metal sound that became as popular and unique as the more technical, less punkish Florida-trademark style emerging around the same time. Inspired by such diverse acts as Autopsy, Mot??ad, Discharge or Kiss, over the years ENTOMBED did not shy away from thinking outside of the coffin resulting in an unique style some fans called Death’n’Roll but in the end it’s just a band with a style and impact entirely their own. A sound that has influenced thousands of bands from metal to hardcore to rock and now the legend returns to show you all that they still master it like no one else.
