Frontiers Music SRL is honored to present a special tribute album conceived by iconic Grammy Award winner and founding member of Ides of March, Survivor and Pride of Lions, JIM PETERIK, featuring an impressive array of guest musicians. The CD, titled “Torch: The Music Remembers Jimi Jamison and Fergie Frederiksen”, will be limited to 500 copies, to be sold exclusively at the Frontiers Rock Festival II, held at the LIVE MUSIC CLUB in Trezzo sull’Adda in Milan, Italy on April 11 and 12th, 2015.
Just as the musical influence of Dennis “Fergie” Frederiksen (of Le Roux, Angel, Toto, Frederiksen /Phillips, Mecca and Frederiksen/Denander) and Jimi Jamison (of Target, Cobra and Survivor) reverberated inside the melodic rock community, news of their passing within months of one another in 2014 sent waves of disbelief and sorrow throughout the brotherhood of singers, songwriters and musicians who had been touched by their talent and their spirit. The loss so profoundly impacted Peterik’s core that it was difficult at first to imagine a universe in which their lights no longer shined. After filtering his grief through the cathartic process of songwriting, Jim found solace by gathering a group of mutual friends to commemorate their departed comrades the only way they knew how – with music.
Peterik recently produced and co-wrote the debut album “Risk Everything” to introduce the world to the stunning, 5-octave tenor of singer Marc Scherer, who will appear onstage with headliners Pride of Lions at the Frontiers Rock Festival II. Scherer is a featured performer on Torch: The Music Remembers Jimi Jamison and Fergie Frederiksen, along with stars like Dave Bickler of Survivor, Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger, Bill Champlin of Chicago, David Pack from Ambrosia, Mike Reno of Loverboy, Bobby Kimball of Toto, Bruce Gaitsch of Chicago, Alessandro Del Vecchio of Hardline and Ricky Phillips of Styx.
As Peterik explains, ‘Hopefully, these songs and heartfelt performances will bring healing to all those suffering losses in their lives, as well as serve as a celebration of life itself.’
The album is comprised of four new songs and six alternate versions of previously recorded numbers, (never before heard in Europe), along with seven classics distilled from Jimi and Fergie’s most recent releases on the Frontiers label.
Passionate and intensely personal, this collection speaks to the heart of anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one. Torch: the Music Remembers Jimi Jamison and Fergie Frederiksen resists the temptation to wallow in sadness, choosing instead to joyously celebrate two beautiful souls who made the world a better place through the transcendent, healing power of song.

Frontiers Rock Festival Organisers have announced that HOUSE OF LORDS have taken the place of TREAT in the second day of Frontiers Rock Festival II which will be held at the Live Club in Trezzo Sull’Adda (Milano) on April 12th.
HOUSE OF LORDS singer James Christian says: “I am very excited to come to this Festival and I look forward to rock all the fans that will come to the show! It will be a great celebration and party for everyone!”
HOUSE OF LORDS are currently recording the follow up album to the successful “Precious Metal” which is scheduled for release in the late summer/fall of 2015. The band, which features besides Christian, long-time members Jimi Bell on guitar, Chris McCarville on bass and BJ Zampa on drums, will play a set which will include a combination of the classic tracks from the early albums and the newer songs from the most recent incarnation.
HOUSE OF LORDS debuted in 1989 with the release of their self-titled album, a record which is still regarded as one of the best Arena Rock releases of the 80’s. The colossal sound, the soaring vocals of James Christian and instrumental capabilities of the band (which featured ex-Angel and Giuffria keyboardist, Gregg Giuffria, along with luminaries Lanny Cordola, Chuck Wright and Ken Mary), were reminiscent of such frontrunners as Whitesnake, Deep Purple and Van Halen and immediately brought the band to the attention of the music media and fans. Two more albums followed up (“Sahara” and “Demon’s Down”) before the band went into hibernation until the original lineup came back together in 2000, releasing the controversial “Power and the Myth”, an album which featured a sound leaning more towards Progressive Hard Rock with 70’s rock influences.
James Christian decided to go back to the trademark Arena Rock sound of HOUSE OF LORDS, putting together a new line-up with the blessing of founding member Gregg Giuffria. New members Jimi Bell on guitars, B.J. Zampa on drums and Chris McCarville on bass supplied a true powerhouse sound to the fifth studio album “World Upside Down”, a record which caused a real stir in the Hard Rock and Melodic Rock scene and was followed up by the equally impressive “Come to My Kingdom” in 2008, “Cartesian Dreams” in 2009 and “Big Money” in 2011. The band also toured relentlessly in Europe and the States in support of their releases and have now become a true staple of the Hard Rock crowd among the two continents. Their latest album “Precious Metal” cemented once again the amazing abilities of this super talented band!
With the special tie that HOUSE OF LORDS have with the Italian crowd we can expect a blazing show offering classic songs and more recent hits. HOUSE OF LORDS will rock the house !!

Frontiers Rock Festival II, set to be held on April 11-12 in Milan – Italy, has announced as follows:
Frontiers Music Srl regret to inform the Norwegian Prog Metallers CIRCUS MAXIMUS will be unable to perform at the forthcoming FRONTIERS ROCK FESTIVAL II, which will be held at the Live Club in Trezzo (Milano), Italy on April 11th and 12th 2015.
Frontiers is anyway pleased to announce that California Hard Rockers BURNING RAIN will perform instead at the Festival and have their show on April 11th.
BURNING RAIN is the band formed by former DIO/WHITESNAKE guitarist Doug Aldrich, together with singer Keith St. John (MONTROSE). The band has released the self-titled debut in 1999, “Pleasure To Burn” in 2000 and the latest “Epic Obsession” on Frontiers Music Srl. Their sound recalls the big Hard-Rock of the 80’s, powered by big hooks, a blistering guitar-work (that has become a signature of Aldrich) and that typical “Bluesy” groove. The boys have learnt a trick or two from the various bands that they have been involved with, and their real home is the stage, as you can experience by yourself catching them live at the FRONTIERS ROCK FESTIVAL II. This will be the real first time for Burning Rain in Italy, so be there and enjoy your well deserved dose of Classic Hard Rock!
The Festival will be presented on stage by the Dj AngelDevil Rock, together with Mario Iob.
