NERVOCHAOS’ most recent Asian tour – co-headlined with KRISIUN and presented by ALPHA OMEGA Management‘s ALPHA OMEGA Tours – was a success and has received a mini-documentary. The art of both the cover and the booklet was created the talented Brazilian artist Alcides Burn (Blood Red Throne, Acheron, Iconoclasm, Malefactor, Queiron, Headhunter DC, etc). ‘Nyctophilia’ was recorded in Italy at Alpha Omega Studio, along with producer Alex Azzali, who is also responsible for mixing and mastering the work. On a side note: Krisiun were arrested for blasphemy at Hazrat Shahjala International Airport in Daca on Tuesday morning, upon arrival in Bangladesh. There were detained for most of the day and the show in the evening was cancelled by local authorities despite being sold out. They are out of custody now, but at the time of writing they were still unable to leave the country. They are in contact with the Brazilian embassy at the moment, waiting for help. KRISIUN’s latest album “Forged In Fury” was released in 2015 and press reactions have been outrageously positive, with Metal Hammer (UK) stating that the “Brazilian berserkers hit a career peak”. “Here lies the difference between followers and leaders. Krisiun always belonged to the second category and it’s never been truer than in 2015.”
The album scored #1 in the sound check of LEGACY (D) right away, and made it to # 7 in the RockHard (D) sound check and to #8 in the Metal Hammer (D) sound check.
Forged In Fury was produced by Erik Rutan, the brain and heart of death metal masters HATE ETERNAL and former guitarist of MORBID ANGEL. Rutan has worked as a producer for his own band as well as for CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER, MALEVOLENT CREATION, MADBALL, AGNOSTIC FRONT, to name just a few– additionally, he also co-produced KRISIUN’s Conquerors of Armageddon album back in 1999!
The stunning cover artwork was created by renowned artist Joe Petagno (MOTORHEAD, MARDUK, VADER, etc.).
