After 11 years of silence Norwegian multi-instrumentalist, producer and artist Morten Veland is once more active with his solo project Mortemia, this time with a brand new concept. ‘The Pandemic Pandemonium Sessions’ is a series of singles released on a monthly basis, each song featuring a well known and highly profiled singer in metal. Madeleine Liljestam (Eleine),Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion, Ayreon, MaYaN, The Gentle Storm, Dark Horse White Horse), Alessia Scolletti (Temperance) and Liv Kristine (ex-Theatre of Tragedy, ex-Leaves Eyes)were the four first special guests on this project. And for the fifth single Morten teamed up with Melissa Bonny (Ad Infinitum, The dark side of the moon).

I am proud and honored to introduce Melissa Bonny as my special guest for ‘The Pandemic Pandemonium Sessions’. The fifth song is entitled ‘Devastation Bound’, and will be available on all digital platforms on the 8th of October 2021. I discovered Melissa’s musical works a few years back and I have been following her career since then. Melissa has an absolutely beautiful voice that has the power of turning every song she performs into pure gold. I feel truly privileged and thankful to have Melissa onboard this project, and I am really looking forward to sharing this song with you all.

The musical universe of Mortemia is truly fantastic. I discovered Morten’s creations earlier this year and I was very enthusiastic when he asked me to record for him. German medieval rock masters FEUERSCHWANZ have released the official music video for the cover of “Ding”, the #1 club hit by Berlin, Germany-based pop act Seeed. The song comes off the bonus covers album Die Sieben Todsünden which will be released as part of the deluxe version of the band’s upcoming new album, Das Elfte Gebot, on June 26 and features Rage Of Light- and Ad Infinitum singer Melissa Bonny on vocals.

Das Elfte Gebot is the successor of 2018’s extremely successful album, Methämmer, (#6 in the official German album charts) and is scheduled for a June 26 release via Napalm Records.
The band recently released the live music video for „Metfest“ (Stream/Watch) as well as the music video for the title track (Stream/Watch) and the Ed Sheeran cover of “I See Fire” (Stream/Watch).

BENEATH MY SINS is a French symphonic metal band created in December 2015 by the guitarist Clement Botz and the singer Emma Elvaston. Former members of Evolvent, they have together taken their first steps in the metal scene and in the musical composition. In March 2017, BENEATH MY SINS released their first album “Valkyries of Modern Times”, promoted during shows in Belgium with Skeptical Minds and during two European tours shared with the Russian thrash metal band, Pokerface. Quickly perceived as the emerging symphonic metal band of the French scene, BENEATH MY SINS had the opportunity to tour with the famous Canadian Kobra And the Lotus during their stay in France in June 2018 and Imperial Age in 2019. In September 2018, the band got in contact with Fabio D’Amore, bassist from Serenity. After a few meetings and discussions they all agreed that he would provides his services as a producer to the band. Thanks to this collaboration, the band was able to record under professional conditions and to work with famous names of the music business. Many talented guests such as Matteo Sisti from Eluveitie, Melissa Bonny from Ad Infinitum, Michele Guaitoli from Temperance and Visions of Atlantis and Fabio Lethien Polo from Elvenking also joined the ship for one or more songs. The album, entitled “I Decide” will come out on March 20th via Pride & Joy Music.
