Various artists from the Century Media Records roster have been nominated for several categories of this year’s Metal Hammer Awards which will take place this Friday, September 14th, at the wonderful Kesselhaus in Berlin.

Best Album:
In Flames – Sounds of a Playground Fading
Asphyx – Deathhammer

God Of Riffs:
Michael Amott

Best International Band:
Arch Enemy

Best Debut:
Vallenfyre – A Fragile King

Best Live Band:
Heaven Shall Burn

Angela Gossow from ARCH ENEMY will be hosting the awards while Michael Amott will join her as guest. Anders Fridén and Peter Iwers enjoyed last year’s event so much that IN FLAMES had to return to Berlin, sending Björn Gelotte and Daniel Svensson this year.
