14 years after their first European ‘Heathen Crusade’ and only 2 years after the second Crusade, PRIMORDIAL and MOONSORROW will invade Europe again, bringing their double co-headliner brand to another 6 European countries during 9 days.
As very special guest they will bring the neo-folk one man act ROME to round up the tour package.
Moonsorrow guitarist Mitja Harvilahti states: “Hark ye heathens! The time has come for Heathen Crusade 3. We shall join forces with our brethren Primordial from the Republic of Ireland! We have toured together many times since 2006 and it’s about time we bring this package to some new cities as well as familiar ones. The age of gods has come to the age of man and this will be the last tour before the next chapter in Moonsorrow.”
While Primordial singer Alan Averill says: “With great pleasure we can announce a further chapter to the Heathen Crusade Legacy with our brothers from Moonsorrow. Some different cities and
different countries we have never brought the Crusaders to! We will be playing a set of songs from the wilderness in our catalogue. Rarely heard 5nd obscure songs
that rarely get performed. We also add the neo-folk musical cutural phenomenon of Rome to the bill as something unique and different. See you all again soon”

Comments PRIMORDIAL: “Twelve years after the original Heathen Crusade and in truth way too long we will go back on tour with Moonsorrow. A lot has changed in the world since then, more scars, more hangovers, deeper lines in our faces, but nothing changes our spiritual bond. Heathens to the bitter end and worse hangovers as we pace ’til death!“
Comments MOONSORROW: “With great pleasure we announce a European tour with our good friends Primordial! With these Irish fellows we had our first ever European tour in 2006. And it feels like just a few years back! Moonsorrow and Primordial always had a spiritual bond, something that makes a special line up for a tour. Don’t miss this rare chance to catch us on the same tour!“
Comments DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT: “As big fans of Primordial ourselves it’s with great pleasure to announce that we are supporting the Irish legends on this tour along with Moonsorrow. We appreciate the chance to be part of this great package and can’t wait to present our album “Finisterre” to new audiences all around Europe. Get your tickets now and see you in April!“

The Finnish Folk Metal Mafia Return! Skálmöld has teamed with Korpiklaani and Moonsorrow for some very special shows in Europe!
MOONSORROW‘s Ville Sorvali states: “The first FFMM tour earlier this year was such a blast that we knew we had to do a second part. And this time with some non-FFMM villains from Iceland as special guests – welcome on board SKÁLMÖLD and try to hang on!”
SKÁLMÖLD‘s Snæbjörn Ragnarsson counters: “Try to hang on?! Challenge accepted my friend! But wow, touring with not one but TWO Finnish bands, what could possibly go wrong? No, in all seriousness, I know this will be a killer tour. Great bands, great guys and (great) beer, what more do you need?”
Last but not least, KORPIKLAANI‘s Don Jon comments further: “Oh my gods, is this Finnish Folk Metal Mafia madness going to continue with MOONSORROW? …and we are going to get one more band on it? SKÁLMÖLD from Iceland? You had better come and see this with your own eyes because this will be something ELSE! See you soon there boys and girls!”

Today, Finnish pagan metal act MOONSORROW launched an epic video for their brand-new track “Suden Tunti” (The Hour Of The Wolf), which is taken off their upcoming new album “Jumalten Aika”.
“This is the shortest song we’ve done in more than ten years!” comments Ville Sorvali. “It has all the elements that make it a Moonsorrow track but it’s still something we hadn’t done before. This is the dark side of folk metal – the epic battle of Fenris and Odin from a new perspective.”
“This is the day we never thought would come. We never thought we would release an official Moonsorrow music video,” adds Mitja Harvilahti. “Writing music without compromises is hard enough. Making a video that catches the same spirit without compromises and awkward moments that takes away the credibility is even harder! We had a thought for some time that only an animated video with enough artistic flavour would work. Since Suden Tunti is somewhat based on actual myths it was possible to create the world where the script takes place!”
