STERBHAUS: New Single And Video “Bloodbarf” Premieres

The crushing Stockholm powerhouse STERBHAUS releases a second completely mad and quite shocking video for the song “Bloodbarf” from their new album “New Level of Malevolence”, out via Black Lodge Records.

STERBHAUS – who are known not only from recent successful touring with Vader, Melechesh and Shining, have also made a quite impressive imprint a rather astonishing back-catalogue of entertaining and groundbreaking music videos. The new video for “Bloodbarf” – which has already stirred some controversy outside Sweden is a feast of visual onslaughts topped with a quite macabre twist that basically really has to be seen.

The video was once more the result of a collaboration between the band and filmmaker Martin Strandberg (Shining videos and documentary, Snowy Shaw dvd and of Sabaton employ).

STERBHAUS plays a mixture of non-retro/non-modern Heavy/Death/Black/Thrash Metal that is uncommonly honest and genuine and spiced with a pinch of dark humor and spitting wit. And Sterbhaus videos are definitely no exception.

Swedish Timeless “Metal Deluxe” Messengers STERBHAUS released their second album “New Level Of Malevolence” at the end of May 2015, via Black Lodge Records. The album delivers an awesome mix of thrash, death and black metal, spiced with positive energy and a good portion of ironic dark humour. It includes ten tracks which are really all that a headbanger could wish to have in terms of sound violence, technical skill, musical taste and refinement of the sarcastic topics about the absurdity and controversy of this world order.

Just a couple of days ago Tarja Virmakari had a nice long chat with STERBHAUS founder, vocalist and bassist Marcus Hammarström. Besides talking about the new album in detail, Marcus discussed the band’s experiences on their first extended European tour in 2013 with VADER and MELECHESH, and how it changed the band’s life. Among other topics were Marcus’ vocal delivery, the latest video “Crossed and Pissed and Devoured”, and the next album, which STERBHAUS is already working on. On friday the 29th the new STERBHAUS album “New Level of Malevolence” was released worldwide. Now two days later the first video from the album is released for the song “Crossed and Pissed and Devoured”.  Watch it below.

Sterbhaus who spent 2013 touring as support for Vader, Melechesh and Shining went on to use most of last year finalizing the preproduction as well as finally recording the album during the autumn. Ronnie Björnström (AEON) did the mixing and once again Gyula Havancak (Annihilator, Destruction, Sirenia etc) is responsible for the artwork. The tracklist is as follows:

STERBHAUS: To Release New Album In May, New Digital Single On March 27th

STERBHAUS of Stockholm Sweden who recently signed with Black Lodge will release their follow up to the successful album “Angels for Breakfast …And God for Lunch” on the 29th of May. The album is entitled “New Level of Malevolence” and will be preceded by a digital single release for the song “Necrostabbing the Corpsefinder” on the 27th of March. The song will be released on all major streaming/downloading platforms worldwide.
