OF MICE & MEN return with their brand-new single “Troubled Water”, taken from their upcoming ninth studio album Another Miracle, out November 14 via Century Media Records. Written, produced, and engineered entirely by the band, the record showcases them at their most personal and expansive yet.
“‘Troubled Water’ is about setting boundaries and breaking away from one-sided connections,” says drummer Valentino Arteaga. Sonically, the track combines heavy, headbangable riffs with an ominous sci-fi atmosphere, pushing the band into darker territory.
Following the singles “Another Miracle” and “Wake Up”—the latter currently climbing the U.S. Active Rock Radio charts—this new release sets the stage for their most ambitious album to date.
Fans can catch Of Mice & Men live this fall at Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Warped Tour, and on a headline run across the UK and Europe , where they’ll perform new material alongside fan favorites.
Of Mice & Men have returned with a new single, “Another Miracle,” their first since 2023’s Tether and signing to Century Media Records. The self-produced anthem explores themes of desperation, hope, and the pursuit of peace amidst chaos.
Aaron Pauley says, “Life is hard. Everyone knows what it’s like to wish for a miracle during hopeless times. That’s what ‘Another Miracle’ is about.”
The video for “Another Miracle” was shot by Mike Matsui. Alan Ashby says, “Working with Mike was awesome. We got to do a bit of acting and play our instruments. It felt like a big budget Hollywood movie!”
Of Mice & Men are touring the U.S. and will tour Europe and the UK from November 27 to December 14. Tickets go on sale May 14 at 10 AM CET / 9 AM UK.
About Of Mice & Men Since 2010, Of Mice & Men have built a global fanbase through powerful live shows and acclaimed albums. The band’s lineup includes Aaron Pauley, Phil Manansala, Alan Ashby, and Tino Arteaga.
Gold-selling hard rockers OF MICE & MEN — Aaron Pauley (bass + vocals ), Valentino Arteaga (drums), Alan Ashby (guitar), and Phil Manansala (guitar) — released their new album Tether on October 6 via SharpTone. Order it here.
The band kicks off the new album cycle by releasing the video for the new single “Warpaint.” Watch it here.
“We’re excited to share ‘Warpaint’ as the first single,” says Pauley. “We feel like it bridges the gap between the OM&M you’ve heard and known, and what’s to come. ‘Warpaint’ is a heavy and anthemic song about resilience, and rallying the courage to face your fears head on.”
Taking all creative matters into their own hands, the Southern California quartet self-produced and engineered all of the songs on Tether, their astonishing eighth album. Pauley mixed and mastered the album while Arteaga designed and painted the album’s artwork. As a legion of devoted listeners worldwide has come to expect, guitarists Phil Manansala and Alan Ashby, Aaron, and Tino poured their hearts and souls into every note, creating another sonic document of their lives.
“With this one, we weren’t really focused on how it sounded as much as we focused on how it felt,” Pauley explains. “And that’s a weird thing to do when all you’re working with is sound. But that was really the goal. And we walked away from making it, feeling like we’ve accomplished that.”
OM&M take sobering looks at depression, anxiety, loneliness, and existential dread, powering through the darkness, and emphasizing the importance of creativity as a balm for mental health. A commanding tempest of sounds coalesces within Of Mice & Men, blending the uplifting eloquence of modern active rock with the atmospheric dissonance of experimental post-rock. The band first emerged as part of a vanguard of future aggressive rock hitmakers. Over the years, they’ve distinguished themselves with musicality, creative ambition, and resilient determination.
Album eight is no less ambitious. Tether is anchored by a reflective meditation on what it means to draw together as friends, family men, artists, and bandmates. What does it mean to be there for the people who depend on us, knowing we can’t fully protect them from the hardships of life?
Tether is the next step in OM&M’s evolution, combining their core sound with experimental and ethereal sound designs. The creative process focused on the excitement of discovery rather than preconceived “goals.” Pursuing the moments when the elusive “x factor” reveals itself in the songs. Those moments are palpable in songs like “Integration,” “Warpaint,” “Enraptured,” and “Indigo.”
The Of Mice & Men core since 2016 – Aaron, Alan, Tino, and Phil – maintain a powerful bond with their audience and each other, no matter the obstacles. Whether a powerful anthem or atmospheric confession, their songs translate in intimate clubs and massive festivals. “It’s about creating moments for people,” Pauley says. “Music is the soundtrack to people’s lives.”
After playing prestigious festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Graspop Metal Meeting as well as selected shows with Lamb Of God and Whitechapel BLEED FROM WITHIN are currently on the road, supporting OF MICE & MEN.

OF MICE & MEN have released “Unbreakable”, a short film that brings fans onstage and behind the scenes for a unique look at life on the road with a touring rock band. Watch below. Directed by Johann Ramos, the documentary follows OM&M (bassist/vocalist Aaron Pauley, drummer Valentino Arteaga and guitarists Phil Manansala and Alan Ashby) across multiple continents for a series of electrifying performances captured earlier this year.
The band, who are currently on the road with In This Moment (click HERE for dates), are also putting the finishing touches on their new album, which was recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson (Sepultura, My Chemical Romance) in Los Angeles. They recently invited Alternative Press into the studio for a sneak peek at the record, playing them new songs “Warzone” and “How Will You Live.”
“The whole energy of the record is very centered around our live shows,” Pauley told AP. “Our past records were made after extended breaks, so it’s hard to remember that live connection. But we’ve played so many shows over the summer that it bled into the music we made. We’re all very well connected on this record.”
The album follows two new songs, “Unbreakable” and “Back To Me,” which were released earlier this year and have racked up close to 20 million combined streams to date. The band maintained momentum by delivering a string of electrifying, show-stealing performances at some of the world’s biggest rock festivals, including Las Rageous, Fort Rock Festival, Welcome To Rockville, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion, Rock on the Range, Download Festival, In.Fest and Nova Rock Festival, to name but a few.
Anticipation is running high for the yet-to-be-revealed new album, which follows Cold World.
OF MICE & MEN have hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock and Independent Charts and No. 4 on the genre-spanning Top 200. They’ve racked up over 153 million Spotify streams, 20 million YouTube views and close to 5 million social media followers. They’ve shared stages with artists such as Metallica, Linkin Park and Queens of the Stone Age and not only held their own, but won over new fans in the process. They’ve played hundreds of shows for packed-house-crowds around the world, released three studio albums to critical acclaim, and recorded tracks that have blanketed rock radio airwaves. Their sound has broken through obstacles of language, distance and culture. For most bands, such achievements usually mark the summation of a long career– if they’re lucky. But OF MICE & MEN have accomplished all that and more over the course of a mere five years. And while those feats make for one helluva resume, what makes this band really matter is that they’ve never stopped pushing themselves to go further.
