After 6 years, 3 albums, and countless shows on almost every continent, HATE‘s drummer Paweł “Pavulon” Jaroszewicz has decided to leave the band to focus on new projects. Pavulon states: “The last 2 years were pretty difficult for me because of a relentless work schedule in all the bands and projects I worked with, resulting in constant exhaustion and eventually health problems, mainly with my wrists from all the abuse and imperfect technique. Late last year, I started rebuilding my playing from scratch and also paying more attention to my health and work ethics. I chose to take a break from my usual work routine and use the time to get back on track in the future with a brand new approach. With this in mind, I decided it would interfere with Hate‘s activity, and the last thing I want are my personal issues to affect others’ hard work. Therefore, I decided to let go and allow my good friend Daniel to step in and carry on the legacy. He’s an amazing young drummer, and I’m sure you’ll be amazed by what he will bring to the band’s sound and performance. I would like to thank Hate for all the years we shared for better and worse. It was definitely an important part of my life, and I will always be thankful for this journey.”

Hate adds: “We would like to wish Pavulon all the best in his projects to come and thank him for his contributions to the band.
With that said, we welcome the talented Daniel ‘Nar-Sil’ Rutkowski to the band. Nar-Sil has already sat behind the drums for Hate during the ‘Europe Under Black Death Metal Tour Vol II’ and worked with many big names in the Polish Metal scene such as Virgin Snatch, Neolith, Embrional, and Dira Mortis.”
Nar-Sil comments: “I’m super excited about joining Hate and the new material we are hard at work on! Things have been moving quickly, but the flow is excellent, and in time, I’m sure the fruit of our labour will be powerful and monstrous Extreme Metal. I’m looking forward to showcasing what we’ve been working on, and of course, seeing you all on the road!”
Hate plan to return to the stage soon! In the meantime, fans can watch a new drum play-through by Daniel “Nar-Sil” Rutkowski, made in cooperation with Drummers From Hell: youtu.be/VSs1VyUfXAo
Drummers From Hell PL have posted a drum cam video of Polish Death Metal squadron HATE Drummer Paweł “Pavulon” Jaroszewicz performing “Walk Through Fire” at Brutal Assault 2018, watch it below:
Earlier this month HATE entered the studio to record the follow-up to 2017′s “Tremendum”. The new opus, bearing the working title “Salve Ignis”, is tentatively slated for summer 2019 and will be the band’s debut collaboration with the legendary Metal Blade Records. Details are still surfacing, but the band has so far released two raw pre-production tracks: “Path to Arkhen” and “In The Shrine Of Veles”, and have confirmed that production on the finished record will be handled by the talented Wiesławski brothers at Hertz Studio, Poland (Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated, and others). Stay tuned for more info coming soon!

HATE have been praised by press and fans alike for years for creating lacerating and dark music, proven best on their current album Tremendum (2017). The album saw ATF Sinner (vocals, guitars) utilize the dark aspects of the mystic and arcane Slavonic folklore to explore themes both personal and impersonal. It is an album that is relatable at first listen, but that is hard to fully know.
Next HATE shows:
Dec 28 – Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic – IFA Party
Dec 29 – Bydgoszcz, Poland – MCK Bydgoszcz
May 2 – Kopervik, Norway – Karmoygeddon Festival
July 19 – Nova Bana, Slovakia – Gothoom Open Air Fest
Aug. 3 – Saint-maurice-de-gourdans, France – Sylak Open Air
Extreme metal leviathans HATE have announced, via their Official Facebook Page, the addition of drummer Pawel “Pavulon” Jaroszewicz to the group’s ranks after Hexen‘s leaving.

HATE’s mainman and songwriter Atf Sinner comments:
“We are proud to inform you that Pavulon has joined HATE as a full-time drummer! I must say this was not a hard choice, because we have known Pavulon for years and always admired his dedication to the music and development he has made being in groups such as Crionics, Vader, Decapitated and Antigama. Having played a couple of shows together, we now strongly feel that he is the right man in the right place. I have no doubt that his drumming skills will bring in some extra power to our live sound as well as new songs. He will be appearing on the upcoming album, which will be followed up with more details soon. We have been working on the new material for months now and I am hoping we get in the studio by June and start tracking. In a few days we start European tour with Kampfar (below). Remember not to miss that! To sum up, I want to say we have long needed some new blood and energy and finally we got it. Now I am looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead to make HATE shine brighter than ever!”
