Slovenia’s legendary NOCTIFERIA‘s new studio album “Reforma – tribute to Laibach” is now mixed and mastered. Furthermore the band has unveiled the artist who will create the album cover and layout. Read below.

Stated the band
“We are thrilled to let you know that our next studio album “Reforma – tribute to Laibach” is currently being mixed and mastered by Henrik Udd, award winning producer known for his work with bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Dimmu Borgir, Architects, At The Gates etc. We are also exited to announce that the album cover and layout will be done by Valnoir of Metastazis – art studio from Paris, (https://cargocollective.com/metastazis), well known for his work with Led Zeppelin, Laibach, Morbid Angel, Behemoth, Ghost etc. Expect one hell of a sounding record. Expect the unexpected!”

Ljubljana’s underground legends NOCTIFERIA, since the beginning (1997) have been spreading their unique style of the Slovenian Extreme Metal Movement. Few could predict what the band and its members would mean for the whole scene in the years to come. Today, just as it sometimes seems that the artists have drained all genres of originality and that all the new musical styles have already been discovered, here comes NOCTIFERIA, bringing something fresh, a style that is uniquely theirs. NOCTIFERIA have toured Europe and UK with bands like In Flames, Hypocrisy, Mayhem, Samael, Marduk etc. Toured China couple of times so far and performed at various European festivals (at Wacken Open Air 2015 as first Slovenian band ever).

Slovenia’s legendary NOCTIFERIA are currently busy in the studio finishing recording their new album “Reforma – Tribute to LAIBACH”! Today the band announces the third guest on the album, THE TRUE MAYHEM‘s Csihar Attila. Read below the announcement:

“We are beyond honoured to let you know that legendary voice of black metal, The True Mayhem’s Csihar Attila joined Official David Vincent and Jørgen Munkeby on our Reforma project. Attila recorded main vocals for track ‘Tanz mit Laibach’ and it sounds extremely sacrilegious! It was an honour and dream come true for us to work with these three exceptional artists who exceeded our expectations in every way and did an amazing and professional job! Thank you all! More soon!”

Slovenia’s legendary NOCTIFERIA are busy in the studio recording their new album “Reforma – Tribute to LAIBACH”! Today the band unveils the second guest on the album, being (Norway’s) SHINING sax player Jørgen Munkeby, read below:

“We are extremely thrilled to let you all know that Jørgen Munkeby of SHINING is joining David Vincent as part of Reforma (tribute to Laibach) project! Jørgen has recorded sax for song titled “Nova akropola” and it is SICK! More to come soon!”

As previously announced, NOCTIFERIA, revealed that all the vocals for the song “Now You Will Pay” are recorded by VLTIMAS‘ David Vincent (ex Morbid Angel):

“It was never a secret that we are fond of Laibach, their avant-garde approach to musical and visual art and now we feel it’s the right time for us to pay homage to this artisticly unique and provocative act. Since we are also fans of early Morbid Angel (their collaboration with Laibach in the past is well-known) we invited non other than mr. David Vincent himself to record all the vocals for the song “Now You Will Pay” and the result is simply mind-blowing!”
