The band have recently put out their very own Smartphone App. According to Nuclear Blast, everyone who will download it now, will be able to listen to ‘Resist And Bite’ from the upcoming album “Heroes” prior to its release. Swedish metallers SABATON have recently launched the third trailer for their upcoming album, “Heroes,” which was filmed during the album presentation in Stockholm, on February 22nd. The trailer was produced and edited by David Havlena of Spark Magazine (CZ) at the Pax studio. In the third episode vocalist Joakim Brodén, bassist Pär Sundström and guitarist Thobbe Englund among other things talk about the historical background of “Heroes”. You can watch the video below:

According to Nuclear Blast, Swedish Heavy Metal heroes SABATON will be performing at DreamHack, the world’s largest LAN party and one of the largest youth festivals in Sweden. The show taking place on June 14 at 21:00 CET, will be streamed as a live broadcast and will also be the first SABATON show on Swedish soil in 2014, as part of the ”Heroes World Tour 2014 – 2016”. DreamHack Summer 2014 is takes place at Elmia from June 14 to June 17, 2014.
Commented Pär Sundström: “For a long time I’ve been wanting to play at DreamHack as it is a fantastic event. For some it might come as a bit of a surprise but we have seen a lot of people uploading their gaming videos with our music on YouTube etc, so we set our aim on playing there and now it is doable. The fact that DreamHack has the ability to stream the show live is great, and to be able to reach so many people is quite amazing. It will be very exciting to see how many people will watch this gig online”

METALLICA – ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’
“All of us are old fans of METALLICA. The choice of the song was difficult, but we all could agree on that one. As an addition, ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’was the first heavy metal song ever performed on a stage by Pär.”
BATTLE BEAST – ‘Out Of Control‘
“BATTLE BEAST was our secret guest at our latest Sabatoncruise and we all enjoyed watching them perform their songs live. We thought we wanted to support young and upcoming bands and decided to do a cover of them.”
RAUBTIER – ‘En Hjältes Väg ‘
“RAUBTIER are our brothers from the north of Sweden. We have played together countless times and in the past, and Thobbe used to be in this band. At a special concert in 2012 Joakim performed this song live together with RAUBTIER and it awoke the idea of doing a cover-version. Seeing to the song title it was also a natural choice for our latest album »Heroes«.
