Following SAXON drummer Nigel Glockler‘s recent surgeries for a brain aeurysm, his family have posted a new update on Nigel‘s official Facebook page, to let fans know of his progress. Check out the statement below:
“A quick update:
Nigel is getting better each day & I am hoping he can be released sometime next week. There are certain things the DRS like to watch for after these things so they are being overly cautious & want to keep an eye out on him a little longer – which is fine by me – my first and only thought right now is for his health/recovery.
The long term prognosis is excellent & they say he will be able to be back behind HMS Glockler when he is fully recovered. Updates for his return will be released by Saxon (Official) and Saxon management.
Many Many Thanks for all the support.
Gina, Justin & Madeline”
Metal Shock Finland send continued best wishes to Nigel for his recovery and best wishes to the family.

Having disbanded in 1987, HELL reformed in 2011 with a fresh line-up and renewed enthusiasm. It’s almost a year now since the band released their sophomore album “Curse & Chapter” and the guys are about to hit the road with the legendary SAXON.
World renowned guitarist and producer, Mr Andy Sneap shares his delight regarding the tour:
“It’s a great honour to announce that HELL will be main support to the mighty Saxon on their UK run of dates throughout December. Having recently worked with the guys on Sacrifice, Unplugged and Strung Up and St Georges Day – Live in Manchester, we have often talked about the chance of both bands playing together. I think I can safely say that Saxon played a huge part in all our musical upbringing, I personally first saw them back in 83 on The Eagle Has Landed tour so, to now get the chance to go out around the UK as special guests is absolutely fantastic and a great chance to bring the theatrics of our latest album Curse and Chapter into the live domain.”
