Sonata Arctica commence a UK headlining tour tonight (April 14th) in support of their new album, Stones Grow Her Name.
Keyboardist/vocalist Henrik Klingenberg commented: “It’s been about two years since we last hit the UK and I’m very excited to announce that we’ll be back in April. Looking forward to having a couple of nice ciders in the pubs as well as kicking some serious ass. It will once again be legendary….see ya all at the shows, it’s been too long! Cheers!”

Finnish bashers SONATA ARCTICA have finalized their South American tour dates for March. It now includes shows in Asunción, Paraguay and a second show in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 13th and 16th respectively.

KING DIAMOND has exclusive show for the Czech Republic at the Metalfest Open Air Festival in Pilsen, being held May 31st until June 2nd at Lochotin Cirque. The condition of his performance is a huge stage where it is possible to fit his entire two-tier theater stage with all the decorations according to a press release.

Stones Grow Her Name was released on May 18th via Nuclear Blast Records. It was recorded in several studios all over Finland, mixed at Sonic Pump Studios by Mikko Karmila and mastered at Chartmakers by Svante Forsbäck.
