Italian Symphonic metal band Turilli / Lione RHAPSODY has been forced to postpone their Latin American Tour, see the new dates below.
Luca Turilli: “Unfortunately the COVID-19 situation has forced us to postpone our Latin American Tour for a second time. We were excited to return to the stage for the first time since March and perform for our Latin American fans. Stay safe! Stay healthy”
In addition to the rescheduled date the band has added two additional dates in Brazil with Kamelot.

Italian Symphonic metal band Turilli / Lione RHAPSODY has announced the new dates for their previously postponed Latin American tour including new performances in Mexico and co-headline dates in Brazil with KAMELOT.
Italian symphonic metallers Turilli / Lione RHAPSODY released their much-celebrated debut album »Zero Gravity (Rebirth And Evolution)« on July 5, 2019 through Nuclear Blast. After recently announcing a Latin American run for March 2020, the band is pleased to add a European leg to their tour itinerary today, which will see them perform in 20 cities and 12 countries across the continent in April & May. Support at these shows will come from special guests, their label mates CELLAR DARLING, as well as opening acts CANTERRA (April 13-25) and QANTICE (April 26 – May 8). All dates can be found below!

Singer Fabio Lione says, “While our first single ‘Phoenix Rising’ mainly represented a bridge connecting our artistic past and future, with ‘D.N.A. (Demon And Angel)’ we intend to show the modern side of our new band, presenting a song based on heavy guitars, electronic synths and featuring as special guest Elize Ryd of AMARANTHE. We all love Elize‘s wonderful voice and we immediately thought of her for the duet of this song!”
Guitarist/keyboardist/pianist Luca Turilli adds, “Lyrically, ‘D.N.A. (Demon And Angel)’ investigates the deepest inner nature of the human being in accordance with some of the most revolutionary studies related with psychoanalysis, focusing on the ‘shadow archetype’ and its relation with the ‘psychological projection’ based on which we tend to see in the other people that dark side we are not able to accept as being part of ourselves. The ‘mirror’ of Carl Gustav Jung doesn’t reflect any illusion and it simply reveals the only way for someone to evolve is based on the fundamental acceptance of his dark side, first step to become conscious of the own shadow, being able to control it and finally transform it into a sparkle of light.”
Their fans had to be very patient, but now Turilli / Lione RHAPSODY – featuring original RHAPSODY members Luca Turilli and Fabio Lione, completed by former RHAPSODY members Dominique Leurquin, Patrice Guers and Alex Holzwarth – have finally brought light into the darkness! The band’s debut album entitled »Zero Gravity (Rebirth And Evolution)«, will be released on June 28, 2019 through Nuclear Blast (King Records in Japan & Rest of Asia)!
Comprised of 10 tracks, the record was produced by Luca and Fabio themselves, whilst Simone Mularoni (Domination Studio, San Marino) took care of its recording, engineering, mixing and mastering. Guest appearances by Elize Ryd (AMARANTHE) and Mark Basile (DGM) among others round off Turilli / Lione RHAPSODY‘s first studio album. The contemporary cover artwork was designed by Stefan Heilemann (EPICA, PAIN, LINDEMANN etc.), who has previously worked on both Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY records.
Luca states, “»Zero Gravity (Rebirth And Evolution)« is much more than an album title. It is a real band mantra underlining the evolution of a great artistic collaboration, a modern day approach and the intention to evolve the band’s sound to a new frontier, conceptually, musically and lyrically.This debut album will definitely present the multiple faces of our new band: modern ultra-heavy guitars, a vocal roller-coaster inspired by QUEEN’s masterworks, dramatic arrangements, breathing soundscapes enriched by ethnic music elements from different continents and surely the most emotional and intense lyrics we ever had. The new artwork realized by Heile represents the synthesis of such evolution and the deep heartfelt message related with it!”

Turilli / Lione RHAPSODY – featuring original RHAPSODY members Luca Turilli and Fabio Lione, completed by former RHAPSODY members Dominique Leurquin, Patrice Guers and Alex Holzwarth – have signed to Nuclear Blast and King Records (Japan & rest of Asia) for the release of their debut album. Fabio comments, “I just listened to the first mixes and I have no words to describe what we have been able to achieve. The result is from ‘another planet’ and finally we have reached what we always wanted through great ideas, songs and the hard work of everybody involved, I have been able to deliver the performance I have always dreamt about for this kind of music.
