Fast-rising modern metal unit AD INFINITUM sets the stage for a brand-new chapter in the band’s history with their new single, “Outer Space”, out now on all streaming services worldwide. “Outer Space” arrives with a visually palpable music video that opens the gates to an exciting and unexpected universe begging to be discovered!

After undoubtedly raising the bar with the release of their cherished third record, Chapter III – Downfall, in March 2023, and ruling stages at Europe’s biggest festivals like Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze and Masters of Rock, the four-piece is back with a new cycle and an outstanding, unexpected fresh sound. Lead by the chameleonic voice of vocalist Melissa Bonny while surrounded by prestigious guitar riffs and heavy patterns, “Outer Space” introduces the listener to matchless modern metal soundscapes, spliced with djent vibes and captivating melodies. The song smashes from the very first second and shows that AD INFINITUM will shine stronger than ever in 2024!

“Outer Space” also underlines that AD INFINITUM is hitting the road for an epic musical journey across the continent to support KAMELOT on their Awaken The World Tour 2024, kicking off in Baltimore, MD, US, today, followed by Europe and UK this fall.

AD INFINITUM on “Outer Space”:
“Welcome to a new page of the AD INFINITUM story where a new era begins. A journey from the ominous darkness of the Abyss to the freeing and energizing dreamscapes of Elysium, passing through the hope and empowerment found at the Surface. Discover our new single ‘Outer Space’, a song that resounds like a sincere and intimate piece of a diary. A grey lullaby tinted with a few drops of hopeful colors.”

THE WARNING Reveal Cinematic Music Video for ‘Qué Más Quieres’

Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: THE WARNING. Leave a comment

The rock sister-trio from Monterrey, Mexico, The Warning, share the music video for their latest single “Qué Más Quieres.” The video notably made its global broadcast premiere today on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Biggest Pop and across MTV’s global network of channels, as well as on the Paramount Times Square billboards.

Watch HERE, listen HERE.

The “Qué Más Quieres” music video bulldozes the way for their anxiously awaited new full-length album, Keep Me Fed [LAVA/Republic Records], out June 28, 2024. Physical products will be available at RepublicRecords.com, featuring CDs, vinyl, t-shirts, and fan packs [CD/t-shirt or vinyl/t-shirt].

Pre-order/Pre-save HERE.

The energy of the Spanish-language “Qué Más Quieres” matches the dynamics of the song itself. On-screen, an intriguing narrative unfolds with nonstop action, mirroring the upbeat sonic ebb-and-flow. Thrust into a world of intrigue, the girls rock the stage in full Mariachi-style attire, throw down in a high stakes poker game, and survive all kinds of unpredictable chaos. Exuding spy movie vibes, it stands out as their most explosive visual to date.

The band recently dropped the fan and critical favorite “Automatic Sun.” Produced by Anton Delost and Dan Lancaster, the track earned widespread acclaim. Ones To Watch raved, “The harmonic complexity screams through their guitar riffs, and their pitch-perfect vocals weave together to give the grunge anthem a hell of a punch.” Classic Rock hailed it among “The best new rock songs you need to hear right now” and professed, “The Mexican sister trio are going from strength to strength, as evidenced by this tight, groovy fuzz-fest – all punchy, deep-set shades of Royal Blood and Muse, framed in smouldering shadows.”  Plus, 1883 Magazine attested, “it’s full of heavy riffs, fierce vocals, and enthralling melodies.” Listen HERE and watch the performance video from Tacte Pa’l Norte Festival HERE.

To announce Keep Me Fed, the band shared not one, but two singles—“Hell You Call A Dream” and the Spanish-language “Qué Más Quieres.” Beyond generating over 1 million total streams worldwide, the songs landed plugs from Rolling Stone Mexico, Rock Sound and more.

In talking about the story behind the decision to name the album Keep Me Fed, “throughout the whole process, the work was consuming us,” says Pau. “By impacting everything we did, the album kept us fed both creatively and personally. We’re inviting other people to participate and consume it too.”

Keep Me Fed also features “MORE”, which the band performed at the 2023 MTV VMAs [Watch HERE], and the recently released fan favorite “S!CK” continues to climb the Top 15 at Active Rock. Revolver raved, “Like the Mexican sister-trio’s previous output, it’s undeniably infectious,” and Classic Rock hailed it as a “shot-in-the-arm of propulsive, fire-spitting hard rock.” Rolling Stone pegged it as one of “All The Songs You Need To Know This Week.”

Listen to Keep Me Fed singles HERE. – Watch Keep Me Fed videos HERE.

Thus far in 2024, The Warning performed at ShipRocked in the Caribbean, Mexico’s prestigious Pa’l Norte & Vive Latino Festivals, and sold-out their April EU/UK headline tour. Upcoming, the band announced their first ever tour dates in Japan that includes a show with Band-Maid, announced a fall Canadian arena tour supporting Evanescence & Halestorm, and will return overseas to EU/UK for summer festivals. Looking ahead to 2025, the band sold-out the 10k capacity Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City in less than 48hrs. Check out the full confirmed itinerary below. Fans can purchase tickets here: www.thewarningband.com

Italian black metal unit STORMCROW release their brand new song “Ascension”. This is the latest single from their third album, “Path to Ascension”, out on May 31st 2024 via Time To Kill Records.

The album was recorded and mixed by Carlo Meroni at ADSR Studio in Milan and mastered by Magnus “Devo” Andersson (Marduk) at Endarker Studio in Sweden. The cover artwork is by Arianna “Trollenskog” Carbone.

Stream “Ascension” HERE.

“’Ascension’ is the title track of the album. To the band, this song has two important meanings: physically climbing a mountain and finding the strength to overcome any adversity that we will find during the journey of our life, and a more spiritual sense, therefore the internal maturation of oneself, realizing that we are part of something much bigger than us”.

Tracklist:

01. Astral Deconstruction§
02. Dark Existence
03. Vulgus Vult Decipi
04. Detached
05. Ascension

The band started out in northen Italy in 1997 and is no secret to genre connoisseurs thanks to a couple of well-received albums and European tours with Dark Funeral, Enthroned, Shining and many more. But now their big moment in the spotlight has come – STORMCROW are ready for the final breakthrough with the new album “Path to Ascension”.

STORMCROW have kept the black flame burning for 20+ years simply out of adoration and their respect for the genre. Undoubtedly they share some of the same DNA of iconic black metal bands that have gone before them, and whilst their technical abilities add a more than impressive flourish, they operate on a ‘don’t overcomplicate for the sake of overcomplicating’ rule. Keeping theatrics to a minimum has yielded a lean, sharp album that embodies the blueprint of old school black metal and embraces both melody and an epic narrative.

Line-up:

Wraith – Drums
Tohrus – Guitar
Vastis – Vocals
Astaroth – Guitar
Zedar – Bass

THE GEORGIA THUNDERBOLTS to Release New Album “Rise Above It All” on August 23rd

The Georgia Thunderbolts have announced their highly-anticipated sophomore album, ‘Rise Above It All,’ set for release on August 23rd via Mascot Records. Featuring the quintet’s signature blend of Southern rock, blues, and heartfelt Americana, the 13-track album showcases the band’s ability to navigate a vast array of musical terrains, while also capturing the profound emotional and artistic growth fostered by their years on the road. “When you cut back on being a tough guy, more emotions can come through, and you hear that on this record,” says TJ Lyle, lead vocals, harmonica, and keyboards. “This album travels all musical genres,” he adds.

To celebrate the announcement, the band released the album’s latest single, “Stand Up,” accompanied by a music video directed by Jim Arbogast. The video captures the band in their element, performing this powerful track that combines slithering guitar riffs and soaring vocals with a Southern rock flair. “I believe this song is relatable to many. It was written with the mindset of overcoming an obstacle I was facing at the time. I hope the listeners can feel that. Perseverance, faith in yourself, and perspective is the key,” says Lyle about the new single.

The road to being hailed as the new torchbearers of Southern rock hasn’t been as glamorous as you might imagine for The Georgia Thunderbolts. It wasn’t many years ago that the guys busked at gas stations, fumbled through covers, and drove four hours to Alabama to play to a bartender and a three-legged dog sitting on a barstool.

These days, however, the Rome, Georgia-based quintet is a critically acclaimed and internationally touring band fending off the sophomore slump with its latest release. The Georgia Thunderbolts are rounded out by Zach Everett, bass, classical guitar, harmony vocals; Bristol Perry, drums; Logan Tolbert, guitar; and Riley Couzzourt, guitar. The quintet’s earthy and emotive aesthetic spans late 1960s singer-songwriter intimacy, the yearning of the blues, the mythological stories of country, and a bracing dose of arena-ready classic hard rock.

“I was raised by my dad and my grandma. He loved 1980s rock, and my grandma loved classic country, like Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard,” Riley says. “As soon as TJ opens his mouth you know we’re from the South.”

Previously, the band released its debut album, ‘Can We Get A Witness,’ smack in the middle of the pandemic. Despite not having the opportunity to tour, the album amassed over 6 million streams across digital platforms, and earned critical acclaim from No Depression, Rolling Stone, Classic Rock, American Songwriter, Loudwire, Paste Magazine, and many others.

Raring out of lockdown, the guys made up for lost time, performing alongside a who’s who of rock icons. Select live performance highlights include sharing stages with Black Stone Cherry, Deep Purple, The Marshall Tucker Band, the Allman Betts Band, Blackberry Smoke, The Kentucky Headhunters, The Steel Woods and The Outlaws.

“We’ve learned a lot from our heroes. Playing with these bands made us better musicians,” TJ says. “Also, seeing the world opens up your perspective as a songwriter—you encounter people from all walks of life.”

However, the most transformative experience for the band has been the month back in 2022, The Georgia Thunderbolts spent touring Europe with Black Stone Cherry. None of them had been across the pond before, and it was the longest they had been away from home.

1. Gonna Shine
2. Rock and Roll Record
3.  Rise Above It All
4. Moonlight Play
5. Ain’t Got No Money
6. Wait
7. Crawling My Way Back To You
8. She’s Gonna Get It
9. Little Jim
10. It Ain’t Easy
11. Stand Up
12. Whiskey Talkin’
13. Pricetag

Playing historical European theaters and seeing firsthand how their music translated overseas was eye opening. “Hearing people sing our songs back to us felt like we were in the Twilight Zone. We never thought this was possible—it’s a long way from getting beer bottles thrown at us,” TJ says laughing. All the growth and maturation over the past two and half years can be heard on ‘Rise Above It All.’ The 13-song collection is a flag-planting album, setting the stage for an exciting new chapter as The Georgia Thunderbolts continue to rise and resonate with audiences worldwide.

INSANITY ALERT Honor Queen with New Single ‘Moshemian Thrashody’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on April 25, 2024
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: INSANITY ALERT. Leave a comment

Some metalheads are sticklers for the rules, but no cow is too sacred for Insanity Alert. On their new EP, the Austrian pranksters tear through a four-pack of familiar classics. But while the first single from Moshemian Thrashody yanked the chain of a saxy pop icon, the title track crashes classic rock’s night at the opera with a whole clown car full of crossover thrash hijinks.

Moshemian Thrashody comes out May 17 on Season of Mist.
Pre-order:https://shop.season-of-mist.com/list/insanity-alert-moshemian-thrashody
Pre-save: https://orcd.co/moshemianthrashodypresave

For Insanity Alert, spoofing “Bohemian Rhapsody” is like bagging a white whale. Scan to any classic rock station and you’ll be hard-pressed to find another song that combines balladry bombast, vocal theatrics and arena rock fist pumps with the fatalism of a French novel.

“We think of ‘Moshemian Thrashody’ as a tribute to the greatness of the original”, says Heavy Kevy, the band’s moshpit maestro. “Mixing a song that’s as over-the-top as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ with our blend of speed, fun and brutal weirdness just feels right”.

If you’re coming for Queen, then you best not miss. After all, who hasn’t suffered some tone-deaf soul doing the Fandango during bar karaoke? Of course, Insanity Alert check all the necessary boxes. Maybe those leather pants are a pinch tight, but the Wayne’s World cosplay is a fitting homage.

But the band hit all the right notes, too. The riffs thrash. The D-beats chug. As if by some especially potent magic mushroom, Galileo is transformed into Ronnie James Dio. Heck, the guys even manage to keep a straight face long enough for the squeaky-clean a cappella parts.

“So you think I’m a stoner that never complies?”, Heavy Kevy spits as if shooting a snot rocket. Now, that’s not far from the truth. But everybody knows that thrashers do it better. Amidst double bass flurries that pop like fireworks, Dave of Death launches into a climactic guitar solo with the reckless abandon of doing a keg stand in the mosh pit.

On “Moshemian Thrashody”, Insanity Alert go anywhere the weed blows.

The video for “Moshemian Thrashody” was produced, filmed and edited by Max “Mugs” Raggl in Innsbruck, Austria ( www.mugs.at ).

The concept was created by Insanity Alert.

[Movie trailer voice] In a world that’s plagued by war, natural disasters and TikTok dance challenges, one band are hell-bent on partying like there’s no tomorrow. Sure, the hangovers might hit a little harder now that they’re four albums in. But on Moshemian Thrashody, Insanity Alert are still nothing but a good time.

Ski parties visit Austria for its powdered slopes, but when Insanity Alert banded together from around Innsbruck in 2011, these adrenaline junkies had a different, more dangerous type of shredding in mind.  Their destructive appetite for ‘80s crossover thrash is only rivaled by an unquenchable thirst for ice-cold beer.

While under the influence of older party monsters like Suicidal Tendencies and Municipal Waste, Insanity Alert roll their riffs with the same strand of humor as labelmates Cannabis Corpse. Their songs parody everyone from perennial punching bags like David Guetta and Milli Vanilli to sacred cows Iron Maiden.

“We think of our renditions as tributes to the greatness of the original songs”, the band says. “Mixing their greatness with our blend of speed, fun, brutality and weirdness just feels right.

On the strength of their demo tape alone, Insanity Alert sent skate punks and metalheads running into the pit. First Diagnosis was quickly confirmed by follow-up EP Second Opinion. Critics properly diagnosed their self-titled full-length as a much-needed dose of derangement, but the band has upped their prescription of snot-nosed speed and grinding d-beats with each release.

Moshburger was served up in 2016 while Insanity Alert were on tour with Hatebreed, Madball, Terror and Power Trip. They then shared a 666-Pack with festivalgoers at Wacken Open Air. With names like Slapmaster Puke and The Inphiltrator, this band will go to comically absurd lengths just to jump into the circle pit with their fans — so long as there’s a full fridge and good bud(s) waiting backstage. When Insanity Alert played the main stage at Hellfest in 2019, Dave of the Death could barely feel his fretting hand after taking one heck of a stage dive the night before.

Moshemian Thrashody keeps the festivities going with new parodies of familiar classics like Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden. One might surprise you, though. Lead single “Beerless Fiesta” gives the crossover thrash treatment to (checks notes) George Michael? Insanity Alert aren’t going into mosh retirement anytime soon, though. The title track sees Queen’s theatrics and raises it with a clown car full of hijinks, including a Hauwitzer guitar solo that pops off like a bottle of champagne. Don Melanzani chugs down blast beats as the band joins in an acapella gang chant about “letting it snow” with Santa Claus that’s rowdier than a German beer hall.

“These are some killer tunes that we threw in our drunken 420 blender”, says Heavy Kevy. “Moshemian Thrashody rides the thin line between familiar and super awkward – like seeing your old grandpa in the mosh pit or masturbating for the first time with your other hand”.

After almost 15 years of bringing crossover thrash to party animals everywhere, Insanity Alert will still go anywhere the weed blows.
