HALCYON DAYS unleash “Save Me From Myself,” a powerful new single that dives headfirst into the emotional core of modern metalcore while staying fiercely loyal to the genre’s roots.
Blending massive guitars, driving rhythms, and cathartic breakdowns with an unforgettable chorus performed by Jonas Westerud Hansen (Fixation / Stjernekamp), the song captures the tension between inner darkness and unwavering devotion.
Built in contrast, “Save Me From Myself” moves between suffocating heaviness and melodic release, mirroring the mental push-and-pull of loving someone through hardship while battling your own demons. The band once again proves their ability to balance brutality and vulnerability — a signature that has helped establish Halcyon Days as one of Norway’s most consistent heavy providers of the Norwegian metal scene.
Accompanied by a music video, the single showcases the band’s explosive energy and emotional intensity, setting the tone for their upcoming album NOTHING TO NO ONE // SOMETHING TO SOMEONE that will release via Indie Recordings on June 5th 2026

Since emerging from Lithuania in 2016, Erdve have experimented with heavy music’s imposing framework. The band’s debut established a hard and sludgy foundation, while their follow-up chiseled away with dramatic intensity. Now, they are pushing their crushing experimental vision even further on their upcoming third album.
Today, Erdve are announcing Epigrama. Following a period of reflection and re-calibration, the band are cracking open a new chapter that’s defined by a refined approach to composition and philosophical backbone. Within eight tightly bound songs, the album examines grief, guilt and stagnation not as fleeting emotions but structural forces. As memories and regret amass, personal foundations erode.
Epigrama comes out May 29, 2026 on Season of Mist.
Erdve have earned a reputation for unconventional experiments. The band have performed in Vilnius’ St. John’s Church and the historic Lukiškės Prison. Metal Injection hailed their debut Vaitojimas as an ”uncompromising patchwork of hardcore punk and sludge metal”. In reviewing follow-up Savigaila, Nine Circlesmarveled at how “all that harshness that is at once apparent settles out and mellows into something that is quite beautiful and begs repeated listens”.
Now, with the announcement of Epigrama, Erdve are refining their hardened sludge experiment into the band’s most conceptually focused and structurally deliberate album.

ERDVE is a metal band from Vilnius, Lithuania, experimenting with extreme music since 2016.
In 2017, the band signed a record contract with SEASON OF MIST records, who later released their debut album VAITOJIMAS (translated as: Moaning). The album has set a strong foundation for the band to keep pushing the limits of creativity within the framework of heavy, yet atmospheric metal iterations.
Their second album SAVIGAILA (translated as: Self-loathing) was released by Season of Mist in 2021, and has presented a different and more abrasive approach towards composing and storytelling, focusing on the intensity, unpredictability and drama.
The band is known to dive into unexpected ventures by choosing to perform in places that intuitively seem incoherent to the type of music being played or are not considered to be regular venues. First such show took place in the church of St. John’s 2019 and another one in Lukiškės Ex-Prison, both in Vilnius, Lithuania.
After the second album, the band took some time to rediscover their relationship with music and identified the elements that would convey their future vision in the most truthful way. This idea is followed by their 2026 release – EPIGRAMA, that delivers a familiar, yet a fundamentally different approach towards experimenting within the confines of heavy music and reflective storytelling. The goal was to craft a meticulous consistency between the music, lyrics and sound production, where every aspect of the song works together to create meaningful impact. This album marks a new beginning for ERDVE, in the process of rediscovery, experimentation and raw expression.

Today sees the release of new single, ‘DENIAL’. “Denial is the hardest thing to watch someone go through,” shares Charlie Rolfe. “You can say or do nothing that will make them realise the horrible situation they’re in, you see small moments of clarity where they’re screaming out for help but they fall back into denial. It’s their closest friend, their comfort. […]”
Dallas’ beloved death metal / hardcore unit Frozen Soul announce No Place of Warmth – a monolithic, majestic and exigent collection of anthems built on the perfect blend of ferocity and subtle melody, allowing soaring guitar leads to guide a lantern through the dark chasm of merciless riffs.
Album opener and title track “No Place of Warmth” features Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance) is “about life at its coldest and the choice you have to let it consume you, or to use it to find warmth in a world that feels void of it. Life is always coming at you, and death doesn’t stop—you might slow it down, but it’s always coming—so you have to make the best out of it and march on” reveals Frozen Soul vocalist Chad Green.
