Hard Rock attitude, old-school roots, and a forward-looking vision: a new chapter has just begun.

Wanikiya Record/Promotion is proud to announce the addition of SHARP N’ LOUD to its official roster — a band destined to make its mark on the new wave of Italian hard rock.

Formed in 2024 in the Marche region, in the province of Macerata, Sharp n’ Loud embody the most authentic essence of rock: pure energy, rebellious spirit, and a sound deeply rooted in the glorious era between the ’80s and ’90s. Five old-school rockers ready to set every stage on fire with a powerful and uncompromising live presence.

Their debut album, “Room2080”, currently in production with Wanikiya Record/Promotion, promises to be a sonic and visual journey capable of blending nostalgia and innovation. An album that breathes the soul of classic hard rock, while evolving through a modern, polished, and impactful production.

But it’s not just about music: “Room2080” also unfolds through a captivating sci-fi storyline, guiding the band into a unique narrative dimension and turning the listening experience into something truly immersive.

From the very beginning, Sharp n’ Loud have shown strong character and determination, taking part in notable platforms such as Fatti Scoprire by RockerTV and sharing the stage with established acts like Chris Catena’s Rock City Tribe and Lost Reflection, further strengthening their live identity and credibility within the scene.

With their official entry into Wanikiya Record/Promotion and the addition of a new member to the lineup, the band is ready to push the accelerator even harder, driven by a clear and direct mission:

“Sharp n’ Loud bring Rock where it’s needed!!”

UK alternative metal act NEONFLY are set to give fans a taste of their high-energy live show with the release of a live video from Bloodstock 2025, one of the UK’s premier metal festivals. The video, featuring five standout tracks from their set, will be available on the festival’s official YouTube channel, giving audiences worldwide a front-row view of the band in action.

“Bloodstock was a huge moment for us – the energy of that crowd was something else. We stepped away from the stage after that to focus on writing and really push things forward creatively. But we can’t stay away from the stage for too long, so we’re excited to take a little break from writing to get in front of audiences again – starting with these select shows,” says Frederick Thunder.

After this festival performance, NEONFLY intentionally stepped back from live activities to focus on writing new material. Now, the band is re-emerging for a handful of select live dates this May, including two in the UK:

Live:
May 2 – Karmøygeddon Metal Festival (Main Stage), Norway
May 18 – Camden Assembly, London, UK (Supporting Edge of Paradise)
May 24 – Breaking Bands Festival, Droitwich Spa, UK

With three critically acclaimed albums under their belt, NEONFLY have earned a reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling alternative metal live acts, having stormed festival main stages and touring as the main support band for some of Rock’s biggest names, including Alice Cooper, Dragonforce, Epica, Escape the Fate, Sonata Arctica, Cyhra and more. Their latest album, “The Future, Tonight”, produced by Grammy Award-nominated Romesh Dodangoda (Motörhead, Bring Me the Horizon), showcases the band at their most thrilling, modern, and diverse.

NEONFLY’s live performances are widely celebrated for their ferocious musicianship, high-octane stage presence, and dynamic visual energy that continues to captivate audiences worldwide. With the release of this Bloodstock video and the upcoming shows, the band is set to reconnect with fans and continue building on their reputation as a must-see live act.

MALAURIU Stream New LP “The Third Nail” Ahead of Release

Italian black metal maniacs MALAURIU are finally back with their third full-length, “The Third Nail”, dropping April 3rd, 2026 via Adirondack Black Mass, and No Clean Singing is hosting the exclusive premiere.

The album tears through nine tracks of unhinged, punk-infused black metal, including a savage, spit-in-your-face cover of GG Allin’s infamous “Abuse Myself I Wanna Die”.

MALAURIU take the nihilistic chaos of their original sound and twist it into something darker, denser and infinitely more abrasive, fusing black metal ferocity with the raw, primitive spirit of punk in a way that only they can.

Stream “The Third Nail” at THIS LOCATION.

Recorded between Italy and the UK from 2024 to 2025, “The Third Nail” is the result of over a decade of dedication to the rawest and most primitive essence of black metal. The album features eight original tracks alongside a ferocious cover of GG Allin, which further highlights the band’s punk attitude and includes guest appearances by Dr. Heathen Scum (Mentors, USA) and Diego Do’Urden (Mystifier).

The album’s artwork draws on Sicilian traditions where the sacred and the profane collide, from blood-stained processions to brutal reenactments of the Crucifixion, creating a ritualistic atmosphere where faith is intertwined with horror, gore, and the occult.

Mixing was handled by Carlo Altobelli at Toxic Basement Studio (Italy), a recognized figure in extreme underground production, while mastering was completed at Necromorbus Studio (Sweden), famed for work with acts like Mayhem, Watain, Funeral Mist, and Shining.

Now based in London, UK, with a solid live lineup, MALAURIU will bring “The Third Nail” to stages across Europe in 2026, delivering a live experience that amplifies the album’s dark intensity and ritualistic energy.

Tracklist:

1 Rising From The Cemetery
2 Empowerment Rites
3 Death Celebration
4 Hell Mouth
5 Satanic Witch
6 The Curse of All Flesh
7 Purple Ceremony
8 Monotheistic Filth
9 Abuse Myself, I Wanna Die (GG Allin cover)

Founded in 2013 by Schizoid, MALAURIU emerged from Sicily as a project deeply rooted in folklore, mysticism, and the occult. Over the years, the band evolved from a pure black metal project into a constantly shifting entity, exploring dark ambient, ritual, noise, and punk, while maintaining a consistent spiritual intensity.

Sicily’s dark, evocative landscapes – ancient temples, legends of monsters, and sites connected to Aleister Crowley’s Abbey of Thelema – have profoundly influenced the band’s vision. With over 20 releases in the past decade, MALAURIU has steadily built a reputation for uncompromising music, blending extreme aggression with atmospheric depth, offering listeners a journey into the darker corners of the mind and soul.

Line-up:
Schizoid – Guitars
R.M. – Vocals

Session musicians:
Black Doom – Bass
Frozen – Drums
Felis Catus – Keyboards/Samples

Mexican death metal warriors NECROCCULTUS have unleashed their second single, “Multiform Devourer Of Souls”, from their upcoming new full-length album “The Afterdeath Blackness”, and Mystification is hosting its exclusive premiere.

A monumental statement of pure, uncompromising death metal, the track erupts with colossal riffs and an atmosphere of dark grandeur. Forged through decades of underground dedication, the track channels the essence of NECROCCULTUS: relentless, solemn and commanding.

Stream “Multiform Devourer Of Souls” at THIS LOCATION.

“The Afterdeath Blackness” is scheduled for release on April 24th, 2026 via Terror From Hell Records.

Proud standard-bearers of the purest and most solemn death metal tradition, NECROCCULTUS return with a record that both honors and revitalizes the genre’s roots. Forged through years of underground militancy and unwavering dedication to the death metal cause, the band channels its accumulated experience into an album that feels timeless yet fiercely alive. “The Afterdeath Blackness” stands as a statement of intent: death metal in its most essential, uncompromising form.

Across eight tracks, the album showcases everything that has defined NECROCCULTUS since their inception: massive riffs, carefully crafted songwriting and a dark atmosphere rooted in ritualistic heaviness. The compositions are elaborate without ever becoming self-indulgent, balancing complexity with raw impact and maintaining a natural flow that keeps the listener immersed from beginning to end. A constant sense of menace runs through the record, while a subtle veil of epic grandeur elevates the material beyond mere brutality.

Rather than chasing trends or modern gimmicks, NECROCCULTUS embrace the spirit of classic death metal, filtering it through decades of underground commitment and artistic growth. The result is an album that sounds both reverent and commanding, a work that speaks directly to devoted followers of the old ways while reaffirming the band’s place among today’s torchbearers of authentic death metal.

NECROCCULTUS was formed in 2003 as a five-piece band consisting of César (guitar), Omar (bass), Chago (guitar), Daniel (drums), and Isaías (growls). During the following three years, this original line-up recorded several releases, including the brutal full-length “Encircling The Mysterious Necrorevelation” (2005) for Sempiternal Productions (US), a 7” EP for Blood Harvest Records (Sweden), a three-way split CD with Sanctifier and Throneum on Warfuck Records (Colombia), and a split LP with Shub-Niggurath released by Iron Bonehead Productions (Germany).

Between 2006 and 2009, the band went through a series of line-up changes while continuing to perform live. Among their most notable appearances was “Glorifying the Great Beast” in 2009, where they shared the stage in Berlin, Germany, with bands such as Necros Christos, Kaamos, Graveyard, and others.

In 2012, NECROCCULTUS recorded another 12” EP, “Solemnelohim, Bringer Of Death”, once again released via Blood Harvest Records. Further line-up changes followed, and in 2020 the band unleashed the demo “Unburied Hellish Presences”, released by the Italian label Unholy Domain Records. Shortly after, due to the global pandemic, the band disbanded.

In 2024, founding member Isaías H. reactivated NECROCCULTUS alongside a new line-up: Roel (guitar), Néstor (bass), Alex (guitar), Dante (drums), and Isaías (growls). After performing several live shows, the band entered the studio between July and October 2025 to record their new abominable full-length, “The Afterdeath Blackness”, featuring eight tracks of bestial, unholy death metal.

OH HIROSHIMA Announce New Album “And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter” + Reveal First Video Single ‘Broken Sunlight’

Swedish post-rock duo Oh Hiroshima return with their latest album And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter, arriving 5th June via Pelagic Records. Once again emerging from Scandinavia’s rich atmospheric landscape, the record sharpens their signature balance of restraint and release, where shimmering guitars and slow-building intensity rise into cathartic peaks. Rooted in existential reflection and modern disillusionment, And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter navigates the space between despair and meaning with a quiet defiance. Alongside the announcement, the band unveil first single ‘Broken Sunlight’, offering an initial glimpse into the album’s immersive, emotionally resonant world.

Pre-order And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter here: https://orcd.co/ohhiroshima-atdtgns

The band comment on the new single: “With ‘Broken Sunlight’ we wanted something that hits you directly, with rhythm and melody tightly interwoven. It’s about holding onto something fragile, a shard of hope in a reality that feels increasingly fractured.”

Oh Hiroshima have built a reputation for transforming introspection into vast, cinematic sound. The Swedish band has spent the better part of the last decade refining a musical language that balances fragility with overwhelming emotional force. Their music exists in the space where atmosphere, melody and gradual intensity converge, where hushed textures evolve patiently into towering waves of sound. With each release, the group has deepened their identity as one of the genre’s most evocative and emotionally resonant voices.

And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter continues Oh Hiroshima’s pursuit to refine the balance between vulnerability and power. At the core of their sound lies a delicate interplay between restraint and release. Their compositions carefully cultivate tension, letting each layer unfold organically: chiming guitars, distant reverberations, and minimal rhythmic pulses that feel suspended in air, all contrast against the heavily drenched power they can unleash. Whether the passage be titanic or still, Oh Hiroshima establish a sense of openness and emotional ambiguity, allowing listeners to settle into the sonic landscape as the music works its slow ascent.

Commenting on the album, the band state: “The album title And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter is taken from T. S. Eliot’s epic poem The Waste Land. For this album, the dead tree works as a metaphor for ways of living that drain the world of meaning and offer no real way of navigating the hardships of life. We are living in a time when it has become harder and harder to imagine a bright future. This leaves many of us with a deep sense of hopelessness that easily breeds cynicism and apathy. In that state it becomes easy to shut the world out and give up any attempts at meaningful interaction with the world around us. A destructive cycle follows, as this leaves us with no way of sheltering ourselves from our initial despair at the state of things. But these songs also aim to paint something meaningful and hopeful. A form of idealisation not rooted in naivety but in realism, because we need ideals to gather enough strength to leave the shelterless dead trees of our lives behind.”

And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter track list:

1. Servant of All
2. Meridian
3. Angelos
4. Skeleton Key
5. Tree of Life
6. Broken Sunlight
7. Ivory Tower
8. Exit Cloud

Oh Hiroshima consistently demonstrate a growing confidence in exploring the edges of their sound. Backed by special guests, a whole array of instrumentation and a growing pallet for wider experimentation, And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter evokes Oh Hiroshima’s unique emotional landscape, each composition a relentlessly captivating journey that inspires reflection and release. Every motif, choice and touch contribute to the shifting terrains that gradually unfold into luminous intensity. By blending harmonics, immersive production and a deeply intuitive sense of pacing, Oh Hiroshima have crafted an album that is woven with intimacy and expansively felt.

“We tracked the foundation of the record (drums, bass and electric guitars) at Studio Gröndahl with Karl Daniel Lidén (Swarm of the Sun), who has worked with many really good bands before, he took great care in the drum setup and recording, and we’re especially happy with how that turned out, adds vocalist Jakob Hemström. The rest of the album was recorded in Örebro by me and my brother, with a little help from some friends of the band. Production-wise this is our most ambitious record by far because of the number of instruments and musicians that contributed. Ten additional musicians were involved this time around. Magnus Lindberg mixed and mastered the album. It’s the third time in a row. He’s great to work with, has a great résumé, and always delivers quality work.”

Catch the band live on the following dates and at Pelagic Fest in August, with more dates to be announced soon.

April 18 – Echoes of Erebos – Vienna (AT)
May 22 – Jaz – Rostock (DE)
May 23 – Wave-Gotik-Treffen – Leipzig (DE)
May 24 – Speicher – Husum (DE)
