Pre-order the new album on various formats now from: https://bfan.link/the-killing-womb
To mark the news, the band have released a horrifying new video for the record’s first single ‘The Killing Womb’, which you can watch HERE:
The new album, which was recorded with Grammy awarding winning producer Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio in April 2020, features guest spots from Thursday‘s Geoff Rickly, Jeff Smith of screamo legends Jeromes Dream and Michigan-bred rapper Bones.
“This World Is Going To Ruin You” is a fully realised version of Vein.fm‘s heaviest elements, both sonically and emotionally. In the band’s own words, “With this album, the vibe was to go back to the origin point of Vein and put it on blast,” DiDio explains. “But it’s not a nostalgia trip. We’re just taking that part of the band to its fullest potential.”

Ex-Manowar guitarist ROSS THE BOSS will be spotted once more on European soil in 2022 – headlining shows on his own and appearing on festivals throughout much of the spring and into the summer (and joined on many of the dates by either Dark Embrace, and The Evolution of Fire Tour 2022 along with RAM, and Trauma ), in support of his last RTB effort, ‘Born of Fire’ on AFM.
“The highest energy set possible,” is what Ross says fans can expect from the upcoming dates. “We are chomping at the bit to play! 100% every tune will be amazing! Of course we will perform my classic Manowar-era epics and crushing new tunes from ‘Born of Fire’!”
‘Born of Fire’ was originally issued in March 2020, and is the group’s fourth album and arrived not even two years after their chart breaking 2018 effort, ‘By Blood Sworn.’ Unfortunately, Ross was unable to launch a proper tour behind the album due to the pandemic. But soon, he will be making up for lost time – with dates running from March through July 2022.
The shows during April will see Ross joined on a bill with Dark Embrace, while RAM and Trauma will team with Ross for much of May – before appearances as part of the Sweden Rock Festival, Big Gun Festival, and Midalidare Rock Festival this coming summer.
“We deliver every night! Metal excitement like no other band can!” And in the new year, metalheads will finally have the opportunity to catch the mighty Ross the Boss back where he belongs – on the concert stage.

The self-proclaimed “Best Goblin Metal on the Planet” known as NEKROGOBLIKON have announced their new album The Fundamental Slimes and Humours, set for release on 1st April.
The band have also shared the video for the new song ‘This Is It’, watch it below.
“We’re excited to finally release ‘This Is It,’ the second single from our upcoming album The Fundamental Slimes and Humours,” the band comment. “This was the first song that got completed during the writing/demoing process, meaning it’s also the one we’ve been waiting the longest for you all to hear. Hope you enjoy it!”
Nekrogoblikon will be hitting the UK / EU this summer for a number of festivals, with dates confirmed at Bloodstock, Summer Breeze, Brutal Assault, and Vagos Metal Fest.

Los Angeles, California’s Nekrogoblikon are melodic hard rock pranksters who deploy gnarly death metal earworms filled with crafty hooks, claw-pumping choruses, lightning-fast riffs, and over the top, EDM-style keyboard flourishes. With their ostentatious goblin hypeman John Goblikon, the band takes cues from hyperbolic horror-metal enthusiasts like GWAR, Finntroll, and Dethklok, while maintaining an affable, self-referential sense of humour. The group’s early outings, like 2007’s Goblin Island, were largely low-fidelity affairs, but by the early 2010s, Nekrogoblikon were operating at a far higher technical level, and employing a rotating cast of talented players.
Founded in 2006, Nekrogoblikon self-produced their debut album, the relatively lo-fi Goblin Island, in a basement. The LP was released in 2007, and an expanded line-up was quickly assembled to help flesh out the fledgling group’s audacious live shows. The more technically proficient Stench arrived in 2011, and included the single ‘No One Survives’ — the video written and directed by Brandon Dermer (Panic At The Disco, Every Time I Die, Diplo, Dillon Francis) became a viral hit, and landed the band festival slots at Download Festival in the UK and Rock Im Park/Rock Am Ring in Germany. The Power EP was issued the following year, and in 2014 the band joined Limp Bizkit on the Kerrang! Tour. In 2015 they released the concept LP Heavy Meta via their own Mystery Box label, and in 2018, Nekrogoblikon issued their fourth studio long-player, Welcome to Bonkers, which was followed by extensive touring including performing on the entirety of the final cross-country Vans Warped Tour and Summer Slaughter. In between touring stints, the band (along with Brandon Dermer and writer/actor Dave Rispoli) released three seasons of RIGHT NOW, a comedic talk show starring band mascot John Goblikon. The series features a wide array of high profile guests including comedian Bobby Lee, The Used, Keith Buckley from Every Time I Die, Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit, and Joe Trohman from Fallout Boy.
The process of creating this coffee was actually super fun. We visited them and tried a bunch of different coffees they were working on in order to find one that best fit what Apocalyptica is all about! It was a caffeinated blast!
The coffee we ended up creating has a dark chocolatey flavor, with hints of licorice and roasted almonds, but supported by a long and creamy aftertaste. Of course – knowing our fans we made sure that it was super caffeinated too! This means that this coffee works as a classic espresso but also as a latte or filter coffee.
We’ve got it available pre-ground or as the beans themselves. Whatever your coffee setup – we’ve got you covered.
It’s less than 12 euros a bag, and is in our humble opinion, some of the tastiest coffee out there today. Why not go for it?
Violinist, composer, ethnomusicologist TUOMAS ROUNAKARI has posted online his gratitude to all the crowdfunding campaign contributors for the new “Bear Awakener” album, which reached its goal in less than 12 hours! Furthermore Tuomas reveals what will happen still in these coming days.
Even though the crowdfunding campaigned ended on January 2nd, the “Bear Awakener” pre-orders go on live at https://igg.me/at/bearawakener
Watch the video here:
Planned release date of “Bear Awakener” is on March 13th 2022! According to an ancient Finnish bear calendar this date marked the end of winter hibernation and awakening of the bears.
Just recently Tuomas unveiled the third Episode for “Bear Awakener” backgrounds and The Bear Awakening songs.
What are the Bear awakening songs all about and how do they sound?? This episode gives an example of a bear awakening song by a Mansi singer Konstantin Atjin. Recorded over a century ago. What did he sing about? At the end you’ll get to hear this wax cylinder recording✨
Tuomas adds: “The Episode 3 is my favorite so far. Getting to the core of Bear awakening songs itself. The material that the entire album is based upon. Poetic and informative. I am also delighted to be able to share one archived wax cylinder recording with the permission of Institute for language of Finland that hosts this collection. This enables my fans to access the same mental time travelling that has inspired me so much.”
What is “Bear Awakener”? The name Bear Awakener comes from specific songs sung in order to awaken the bear. This album dives deep into the bear myths and is designed to re-awaken or cherish anyones connection with this mythical entity.
The myth of a bear’s origin is identical among the Finns and the indigenous Khanty and Mansi people. Both cultures run ceremonial Bear feasts that last several days. Many songs, dances and plays are performed in honor of the bear. Tuomas Rounakari has studied the bear feast songs of all of these cultures. There are thousands of verses containing bear related myths in the vast archives of Finland and the tradition is now returning among the Khanty and Mansi.

TUOMAS ROUNAKARI is an internationally acclaimed violinist, composer and ethnomusicologist from Finland. He is a one-man-band blending violin, vocals and stomping with ankle-bells. In his performance he enters various trance-states. In this album he will also be playing a traditional Khanty instrument called Ning-juh.
Tuomas is inspired by different forms of dialogue; man and nature, the seen and the unseen world, ancient and future. His first solo album Shamanviolin was a result of ethnomusicological studies of the earliest 20th century wax-cylinder recordings from Siberia. These studies have also led to many collaborations with indigenous artists. He is one of the few artists who have actually returned their art to native communities for evaluation and development.
Enjoy online concert from Kaustinen Folk Music Festival 2020. Shamanviolin at Pauanne is a full-length online concert produced by the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival 2020. The concert was filmed at the magical Pauanne where a community of folk musicians and folk healers used to live in the 1980’s. All buildings are fully hand made with many mythological decorations. This Shamanviolin concert ends with lament melodies in a burnt down sauna. The magic and unique beauty of this place is still strong. A perfect environment for my music.
Danish alternative metal quintet NORÐ is set to release their debut album Machine Blood on March 4th 2022 via Inverse Records. The album is mixed and mastered by the magnificent Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios, Denmark (Volbeat, Amaranthe, Primal Fear, etc). The first single Fear Reigns is released today along with music video.
The band comments:“Fear Reigns is a track that means a lot to us. First of all it’s a killer riff and the verse has harmonic vibrations that would remind you of the Twin Peaks theme. The chorus begins with another bad ass groovy riff followed by a more atmospheric part that will speak to anyone who ever liked Deftones. The bridge is an epic melodic part with tight riffin’ and melancholic soundscapes. The song has been with us for a long time and it still feels fucking awesome to play every time. The crowd also always has a good response to this track. The lyrics talk about the cracks in the foundation of societies around the world. The ideal of a democracy based on trust is increasingly threatened by more simple means to power such as fear and repression. As the globalization have brought us closer together it has also drawn new battle lines between ideologies. Societies based on ancient traditions and belief collide with capitalistic societies based on the free will of the individual. Cohesiveness is threatened and protectionism becomes stronger. So some really uplifting themes in that song 🙂 But seriously, we love this song and hope everyone will enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoy playing it.”
