Glasya will release the new album “Fear” on October 24 through Scarlet Records.
Lead by the magnificent voice and imposing presence of Eduarda Soeiro (officially part of the current Moonspell live band), Glasya keeps marrying cinematic heavy metal and a bright storytelling vein.
Three years after the excellent “Attarghan” concept album, “Fear” displays a more modern symphonic metal sound with strong grooves, catchy chorus and several honorable special guests (Moonspell’s Fernando Ribeiro, Vision Of Atlantis’ Michele Guaitoli, Dark Oath’s Sarah Leitão).
“Fear” tells the quest of a woman who finds herself confronted with her own fears and gains the courage to overcome them. The listener will be walking in the shoes of the protagonist and feel her trepidation, her convictions, her achievements and the confidence that she develops in herself to help a close one.
During the course of the compelling story, she will fully reveal her weaknesses and how they can finally become her strengths – a real triumph over adversity.

Raging with urgency and defiance, the new FURY thunderous single and official video “Don’t Lie To Me” is a rallying cry for the working classes around the globe. Powered by a fierce groove, commanding dual vocals and an incendiary chorus, the track channels collective frustration into a fist-raising anthem. Aimed at the lies, propaganda and greed of the 1%, “Don’t Lie To Me” is a no-holds-barred call for unity, truth, and resistance by the British heavy rockers.

Fury are challenging the barriers of hard rock and metal genres once again with their exciting new album “Interceptor”. From the reassuringly old-school fast riffing and anthemic vocals the long lasting fans know from Fury, to the carefully composed, introspective auditory treats that might surprise listeners who expect metal bands to sit neatly in their box.
Since their previous album, “Born To Sin” (2022), Fury have moved into the territory of dual lead vocals, opening up a new soundscape for the band to explore. With the release of every album since their debut in 2014, vocal melody and harmony have become an increasingly significant part of their sound. Until no longer could the band remain a four-piece, and the powerhouse Nyah Ifill joined alongside founding member Julian Jenkins on co-lead vocals. The pairing of their two distinctive vocal timbres build a wall of sound on the “Interceptor” album, and doesn’t let up the intensity for their roaring live shows.
2022 was also a big year for Fury bassist Becky Baldwin, who found herself meeting heavy metal idols Mercyful Fate on their first tour in 23 years, and was invited by King Diamond to tour the USA, Canada and Mexico with Mercyful Fate in the absence of their bassist, Joey Vera. After taking this opportunity, Becky was invited to join Mercyful Fate permanently in January 2024. With frequent gaps in the touring schedule to allow King Diamond his many projects, Becky found herself busy with Fury, on the road and recording the high-energy new album “Interceptor”.
“Interceptor” also marks another sonic change for the band, bringing in the production expertise of Todd Campbell of Stompbox Studios. Fury met Todd while touring Europe supporting Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons in 2023, and it became clear that someone so close to Motörhead and Lemmy would understand the energy, rawness and dirty guitar and bass tones that Fury craved for their fifth studio album.
Since the band’s formation in 2010, Fury’s line up has undergone many transformations, but it is undoubtedly clear that Fury have found their stride in recent years, reflecting in their expansion into touring mainland Europe and a growing online following worldwide. Gig highlights include festivals such as Download (UK), Bloodstock Open Air (UK), UrRock (CH) and supporting bands such as Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Firewind and Florence Black.
The West Midlands of the UK have produced many excellent heavy bands, and with a shift from unapologetically DIY to signing with Danish label Mighty Music, perhaps this is another album from Birmingham to shake up the airwaves again!
“Interceptor” will be released on LP (black vinyl limited to 200 copies and purple vinyl limited to 300 copies), CD and digital on 05.09.2025, via Mighty Music.

The Metal Voice recently spoke to Armored Saint/ Ex-Anthrax singer John Bush about his plans to play a special three shows of his Anthrax era material with new band Category 7
Bush also talked about New Armored Saint studio album plus his time in Anthrax.
When asked what was the inspiration to go out and play Anthrax Bush material live
“Well, I’ve been talking about it for a while and I just don’t want to hear me talking about it anymore really. So, I don’t know if the timing is really right but it was more of like, let’s just do it. Let’s just do this. I’ll start off small and we’ll figure it out. I mean, sometimes the timing isn’t great in life. I’ve been touring for the last couple years. I’m gonna be 62 years old next month. I’m like, when am I doing this when I’m 70? Timing is maybe questionable but like whatever. In December, I’m not doing anything so, I figured let’s do it. So, me and my agent Dan, who’s a good friend of mine as well, we talked about this for a long time. He was the guy who was doing all the groundwork for it and he was like, why don’t we do this in December? You know, we’ll do these three shows. Let’s do it.”
When asked if this is the Anthrax hook to expose the fans to new band Category 7
“There’s a little bit of that and we’re not going to deny it. I mean at the same time if I put a band from scratch uh to do this thing I would think of those guys cuz they’re really amazing. They’re great players. They’re super cool guys and are easy to work with and I really believe in their abilities. So it was kind of like well wait a minute why don’t we do this? We could play category 7 for like you know 30-40 minutes. It’s going to be a lot of work not only for me but for those guys as well of course and then we could come back out and do these (Anthrax) song. I have this idea of maybe having a few people come in as kind of guest stars, if you will, and maybe playing a song or two on these shows. I haven’t really reached out to anybody yet. I mean, the show just kind of went on sale on Friday, so it’s still early on and tickets are doing pretty well so far. I want to make it like a real celebratory thing. I don’t want it to be like my version of this band of, the alternate to Anthrax or something because that’s not my goal at this at all. My goal is to make this a fun thing that’s exciting and is like I said it’s a celebration of those four (Anthrax) records because I believe those records are really great. Myself and the guys in Anthrax did a lot of investment in time and emotion and recording those records touring on those records. So, um, we put a lot of our heart into it and this is my way of kind of saying, Let’s get back a little bit and have some fun with these songs that pretty much haven’t been heard for years. I want to do some songs that are not just the obvious ones. I want to do some deeper tracks. So I’m kind of figuring, oh, this song, I forgot about this one. This one’s great. And it was always a fan favorite. Um, you know, obviously there’s the logical choices, but um, you know, I think it’d be fun to incorporate some other tunes as well, ones that maybe people never heard live. So, and I’m all ears.”
When asked years ago how close Anthrax was a few years ago in touring with two singers, Bush and Belladonna?
“Well, we were we were supposed to do it and then for whatever reason I don’t really remember exactly why. I certainly don’t want to get into anything negative. I think there was probably a money issue about what people were making and I guess some dissatisfaction with that and so um so then it didn’t happen with both singers. It was cool because it was a great idea and I think it would have been really fun for fans.”
“When the greatest hits (Attack of the Killer A’s) came out it kind of resurrected the band a little bit. The album had this song on it with, me and Joey (Belladonna). And I thought it was really cool. It was a cool tune (Ball of Confusion). I mean, I’m huge Temptation fan. What we should have done on that song, we should have made a video for that song. We should have done a video with both singers. There was a vibe about it. So, we should have made a video and that was a really bad decision that we did not do that because it would have probably been much more popular and just really would have helped out with promotion for this two singer thing. So, that was a mistake. I was open to it (two singers) and then it didn’t happen and then when we did ‘We’ve come for you all’ (Album) the idea came back up about maybe doing the two singer thing again and then that was at the point where I was I just think life was changing a lot. My daughter was born. I was like, you know what? I think you guys should do the reunion. And so I was like, just do it I’ll step away go fulfill that kind of feeling. And I think that was something the band needed to do. So, at that point, I was like, you know, I’m ready to step away. “
Cairo-based artist delivers unexpected 4-track solo collection that blends swing, funk, and rock with mystical Louisiana spirit
Acclaimed Polish guitarist and songwriter ANDRZEJ CITOWICZ has released his most unexpected work to date, the “Whiskey Gospels” EP – a genre-defying 4-track collection that fuses blues, swing, jazz, funk, and hard rock with the supernatural spirit of New Orleans. The EP is now available on all major streaming platforms, with official lyric videos premiering on YouTube.
Originally conceived as a precursor to his upcoming album “Living Room Rockstar Pt. 2,” the project took on a life of its own during the creative process, evolving into something completely different from Citowicz’s previous work. For this release, Citowicz handled all production duties solo, marking a new chapter in his creative independence.
“This music came completely unexpected and inspired my soul,” Citowicz reflects. “I started with one idea, but the New Orleans spirit just took over. There’s something mystical about this collection – it’s blues, jazz, swing, funk, and hard rock all at once, but somehow it all makes sense together. I wrote all the music and lyrics, and handled the production myself. I’m incredibly proud of this material.”
The EP showcases Citowicz’s versatility as both songwriter and producer, featuring tracks that range from the controversial honesty of the title track “Whiskey Gospel” to the crossroads mythology of “Ruler of the Crossroads.” Each song explores themes of authenticity, spiritual struggle, and redemption through the lens of Louisiana’s rich musical heritage.
“The supernatural New Orleans spirit is woven throughout every track,” Citowicz explains. “There’s something about that city’s musical DNA – the way jazz meets gospel, how blues carries both pain and joy, the funk rhythms that make your soul move. I wanted to capture that energy and blend it with harder rock elements.”
Working solo on production allowed Citowicz complete creative control over the project’s genre-blending vision. The Cairo-based musician, formerly of DownBoys Records, will reunite with longtime collaborator Patryk Szymanski for the full “Living Room Rockstar Pt. 2” album, but “Whiskey Gospels” represents a purely personal artistic statement.
“Working on this EP reminded me why I fell in love with music in the first place,” Citowicz notes. “Every genre represented here – the swing, the blues, the hard rock, the funk – they all serve the songs. It’s not fusion for fusion’s sake; it’s what the music demanded. Producing it myself gave me the freedom to follow every creative instinct.”
The “Whiskey Gospels” EP features four distinct tracks, each with its own character while maintaining the cohesive supernatural Louisiana atmosphere. Official lyric videos are being released progressively on YouTube, allowing fans to experience the visual storytelling that complements the musical journey.
As a successor to his upcoming “Living Room Rockstar Pt. 2” album, “Whiskey Gospels” demonstrates Citowicz’s continued evolution as an artist willing to follow creative inspiration wherever it leads, even when it defies expectations and requires stepping outside established collaborations.
The Polish artist’s unique position creating English-language music from Egypt adds an additional layer of international perspective to his already genre-crossing approach, creating music that transcends both geographical and stylistic boundaries.
“Music has this power to surprise you,” Citowicz concludes. “Sometimes the best art comes when you let go of the plan and trust the creative process. ‘Whiskey Gospels’ is exactly that – four songs that found their way into existence and demanded to be heard.”
“Whiskey Gospels” EP is available now on all major streaming platforms.

British melodic rock legends FM are pleased to announce the release of “Don’t Call It Love,” the second single taken from their highly anticipated 15th studio album Brotherhood. Released Wednesday 6th August, the new single is a compelling rock anthem tailor-made for rock radio. Watch the official music video on YouTube HERE.
Released by Frontiers Music Srl on Friday 5September, FM’s Brotherhood album is available to pre-save digitally, and pre-order on CD and vinyl from https://ffm.to/fmbrotherhood.
“Don’t Call It Love is an up-tempo old-school AOR track with a very 80s feel,” says FM’s founding member and bassist, Merv Goldsworthy. “It was one of the last songs written and recorded for the Brotherhood album. It’s a definite candidate for the live set and rock radio.”
It’s no surprise that FM’s Brotherhood album continues to showcase their signature blend of hook-laden AOR and blues-tinged hard rock that solidifies their status as masters of the genre.
To promote Brotherhood, FM will tour the UK in September 2025 with 14 confirmed shows, followed by European dates in early 2026. Tickets are available from The Gig Cartel and FM’s official website.
Brotherhood showcases a band at the top of their game, with highlights including the infectious anthem “Living on the Run“, the anthemic rocker “Don’t Call It Love”, the punchy and powerful “Coming For You“, and the emotionally charged “Time Waits For No One” – all tracks that echo the spirit and melodic strength of FM’s early classics, while being unmistakably fresh and vibrant.
The opening track, “Do You Mean It“, brings a bluesy, soulful vibe that echoes the Doobie Brothers’ classic “Takin’ It To The Streets” sound, setting the tone for the album. Brotherhood also features one of FM’s most powerful ballads to date, “Just Walk Away” – a beautifully emotional song that highlights the band’s mastery of melodic rock. Wrapping up the album is “The Enemy Within“, a track that introduces exciting new sonic ideas while retaining the powerful and melodic qualities FM fans love.
Supporting vocals from a female guest choir add warmth and dynamic depth to “Do You Mean It” and “Just Walk Away”, perfectly complementing Steve Overland’s consistently exceptional lead vocals.
Formed in the 80’s by the Overland brothers, FM are one of the UK’s seminal and respected rock bands.
