This revolution now unfolds in front of our eyes with the brand-new video for “Trapped in Chaos”, recorded at their blasting show at Summer Breeze 2019. A perfect representation of all the qualities characterizing the music of the German group, the song, together with the accompanying video, summarizes the complete chapter of DUST BOLT’s history, with charismatic vocals and merciless guitar riffs slaying persistently through impressive guitar solos.

As a part of this major decade-transformation, the band will join Unearth and Prong on their upcoming European tour, kicking off mid-February. The band is ready to impress audiences with another special gift, prepared specifically with upcoming live dates in mind. The band on the new single:
“Another Day In Hell is the by far slowest and darkest song on the new album and probably even in DUST BOLT´s history. Originated on an acoustic guitar, Lenny took this song to the rehearsal room one day and it was kind of fitting to how the band and its members were feeling at that point of time. The video was shot on one day, together with Bloodspot frontman and singer Peter Kunz and shows a different side to the band´s personality than most listeners have seen before. For this one we wanted to let the music do the talking and portray the day the song was written from the perspective of every bandmember.”

Now the raging quartet releases their second video off the upcoming record!
Lenny states:
“Bloody rain is a really special and outstanding song on the new album and in the history of Dust Bolt. It is by far the most melodic song vocalwise, though it´s also a really dark and heavy banger – especially towards the ending. The song was written by our guitarist Flo D. . I remember him calling me multiple times as he had this song he needed to show me immediately on a rainy and pale day. Mentally it was a dark and uncertain time for both of us, which probably made the song, what is is now. Uncomprehendingly, in some ways “grungy”, heavy and as nihilistic as it can get.”

Death metal legends OBITUARY have announced an early Summer North American headline tour with support from Pallbearer, Skeletonwitch and Dust Bolt. The tour begins May 2nd in Atlanta, GA and ends June 3rd in Miami, FL. A full list of confirmed tour dates is available below (see the flyer).

“We are stoked about our North American tour and super excited to be back at the headlining spot. We have been very fortunate to be a part of some killer tours for our last few US/Canada runs as support to Carcass, Cannibal Corpse and Kreator but that came with limits on time and production value. Now it’s time to bust out the Big Guns, dig deep into our musical pockets and pull out some oldies but goodies!!
With 10 studio albums and over 100 songs in our catalog these days, it’s never easy choosing a set list and always causes some serious discussions and arguments amongst the band members so we are turning to the fans on this one.
