This Saturday, death metal icons CANNIBAL CORPSE will kick off a month-long US tour as Summer Slaughter headliners. The annual caravan commences on July 23rd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, runs through August 21st in Atlanta, Georgia, and sports one of its most extreme lineups to date with support provided by Nile, After The Burial, Suffocation, Carnifex, Revocation, Krisiun, Slaughter To Prevail, Ingested, and newest addition, Enterprise Earth.

KRISIUN just launched a new video for the song “Scars Of The Hatred”, filmed at PartsySan Open Air 2015, issued Century Media. You can watch the video below.

The video release comes along with their recent announcement of tour dates across Europe with CANNIBAL CORPSE.

Regarding the new video and upcoming tour, the band checked in with the following comment:

KRISIUN’s latest album Forged In Fury was released in 2015 and press reactions have been outrageously positive, with Metal Hammer (UK) stating that the “Brazilian berserkers hit a career peak”. “Here lies the difference between followers and leaders. Krisiun always belonged to the second category and it’s never been truer than in 2015.”

Rutan has worked as a producer for his own band as well as for CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER, MALEVOLENT CREATION, MADBALL, AGNOSTIC FRONT, to name just a few– additionally, he also co-produced KRISIUN’s Conquerors of Armageddon album back in 1999!

Brazilian death metal act KRISIUN‘s new album, Forged In Fury is available now worldwide via Century Media Records as a limited edition digipak which includes two bonus tracks as well as a woven patch. The release is also available in a 180g gatefold 2 LP edition with etching (incl. the album on CD) and as a digital download.

KRISIUN is extremely proud of their new opus and had this to say about the album and their work with producer Erik Rutan:

“Forged in Fury marks our return to the studio after 3 years of constantly touring all over the globe. Things were working well as we were always satisfied with the results of the previous records, but we thought that it was time for a change. Erik Rutan was the chosen one to be the producer, at Mana Recording Studios in Florida.

This album could be described as a “more natural” sounding album; the songs came out with more ambience and more low-end, making it sound even more brutal and straight-forward. It took us a lot of hard work and dedication, no fashions or tendencies were followed, this is a true relentless metal album to the bone, with a huge, natural sound. The song writing captures all the experience and feelings we gathered thru all the years of touring and recording, it has more variation and dynamics, but is still 100% Krisiun. Erik has a huge participation within the whole process, especially with regards to the band’s performance. He was able to get the best out of each one of us, as we have been friends for a long time, so it was a pleasure working with him. This album was made with a lot of heart and passion for metal music.
