ROBERT PLANT’s Son In New Mr Porter Clothing Campaign

According to Mail Online, Logan Plant, 33, son of LED ZEPPELIN’s Robert Plant, Marlon Brando’s grandson Tuki Brando, 21, Ethan Peck, 25, grandson of Gregory Peck are the stars of the new Mr Porter campaign going live on Tuesday.

According to the brand, the new set of bold young men ‘have truly inherited a bit of myth and swagger from their forefathers, and … aptly represent the campaign’s slogan: you can inherit style.’

London local and beer aficionado Logan Plant (shown above) looks suave in jeans and patterned trousers in the new campaign photographed by Laurence Ellis and styled by Mr Porter’s Dan May.

Storm Thorgerson’s PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH Art To Be Exhibited In Cape Town

According to Bizcommunity.com, a selection of legendary artist Storm Thorgerson’s fine art prints will be shown at The Raging Storm exhibition opposite Church Square in Cape Town, South Africa from Monday, February 20th to Saturday, March 10th.

The signed and numbered works include the album art of PINK FLOYD, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH, ANTHRAX, ALAN PARSONS and PETER GABRIEL. Gallery hours are all day Monday to Saturday from 8.30am.

A feature-length documentary film Taken By Storm will be shown, followed by an intimate Q & A session with Storm Thorgerson on Wednesday, 22 February at 6.30pm and Thursday, 23 and Friday, February 24 at 8pm.

Footage of guitarist PAUL GILBERT (MR. BIG, RACER X) performing LED ZEPPELIN’s ‘What It Is And What Should Never Be’ and jamming with STEVE VAI at the Ernie Ball 50th Anniversary in NAMM 2012, courtesy of “kalibsumter”, has surfaced on YouTube. Check it out below:

As previously reported, on Friday, January 20th, Gilbert performed at Deke Dickerson’s 2012 Guitar Geek Festival with his solo band in Anaheim, CA as part of the NAMM 2012 festivities. Fan-filmed live footage of Racer X’s ‘Technical Difficulties’ is available below:

According to the post, this show will be released on a Multicam DVD and Blu-Ray later in the year. Stay tuned for updates.

LED ZEPPELIN Bassist To Receive Honorary Fellowship From Deptford Dance And Music College

According to News Shopper, legendary LED ZEPPELIN bassist John Paul Jones, who is also a member of THEM CROOKED VULTURES, will receive an honorary fellowship from Deptford’s (a district of South London, Engand) Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Jones will receive the accolade at the prestigious performing arts college in Creekside today.
