UK Punk legends THE EXPLOITED are set to release the Special Editions of “Beat The Bastards”, “Fuck The System” and “The Massacre” on March 14th 2014 via Nuclear Blast. The releases are being re-issued with a raft of bonus content, including a bonus DVD of live footage (“Beat The Bastards”) and bonus tracks (“Fuck The System“and“The Massacre”).
Fans can watch the live version of ‘Beat The Bastards’, taken from the bonus footage on the DVD that comes with the album,over on the Nuclear Blast YouTube channel.
Finnish thrash metallers LOST SOCIETY are going to release their upcoming album,“TERROR HUNGRY,” on April 4th via Nuclear Blast. The album was produced by Nino Laurenne (AMORPHIS, ENSIFERUM, LORDI) at the renowned Sonic Pump studios (FINNTROLL, SONATA ARCTICA, OMNIUM GATHERUM).

“Lethal Pleasure” was one of the first songs we wrote for the new album and it has very traditional speed metal feel to it with some killer shred solos and some groove! The song is one of the less dark themed songs on the album, it just makes you wanna scream and fuckin’ bang your head! The song is basically about what we’re doing, thrashing out is our lethal pleasure!! Enjoy this killer tune everybody! Lost Society is back: faster and louder than ever!!!”

According to Nuclear Blast, German epic metal heroes EQUILIBRIUM are currently working on the follow up to their highly acclaimed 2010 album, “Rekreatur”. In few days, the guys will enter the Helion Studios Munich to kick off the recordings with guitar player and producer René Berthiaume.
The band states: “The songs are written, 13 tracks are planned for the album. We can hardly wait to finally release another full-length record after four years!
In the past we’ve written a lot, so that the record will be very varying. With some songs we return to our roots, others will be a sonic surprise.
Next week Robse will hit the studio to record vocals and to give the songs life. Furthermore there are some other things planned for Equi this year,
you can really look forward to!”
The untitled album will be released this summer via Nuclear Blast.
CARNIFEX have made their entire new album “Die Without Hope” available for streaming over smarturl.it/DieWithoutHope. The album was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida and produced by the esteemed Mark Lewis (ARSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, DEICIDE, SIX FEET UNDER). Cover art for the album was created by renowned artist and longtime collaborator, Godmachine. LOST SOCIETY is a speed thrash metal band, formed in 2010 in Jyväskylä, Finland. They are young and started metalling not so long ago, but they have impressed many fans and critics with their music. Energy, speed and technique are what they have in their camp. Also they are lucky to get support from Nuclear Blast, which is one of the biggest active record companies in the metal music industry.
LOST SOCIETY are set to release their upcoming album, entitled “Terror Hungry” on 4th April via Nuclear Blast. The whole album contains fast and old school thrash riffs which may remind you of the mighty ANTHRAX, EXODUS or even METALLICA when they were on a high. However, I can call their style on this album Melodic Thrash Metal, as they mixed some old school thrash elements, coming from the ‘80’s era, with some blasting melodic elements found on tracks such as ‘ Game Over’ or ‘Lethal Pleasure’. However, as you will hear as you progress through the album, the music turns more to old school thrash metal, rather than melodic.
“Terror Hungry” is recorded to sound like a terror machine for a thrash war, an absolutely massive noise of steel and terror, plus a little humour?! Generally speaking, all tracks are almost at the same level, with some changes of pace. The guitar riffs, bass, solos and drum parts in this album will give you the joy of pure thrash metal, in fact you may feel that they are trying to rip their instruments on the tracks such as ‘Attaxic’, ‘Lethal Pleasure’ and the self titled track. What else do you want more from thrash than killer syncopes which make your heart and mind beat messily and makes your head bang furiously fast. Please mind your brain when you are listening to LOST SOCIETY‘s “Terror Hungry,” there is no stop station!
Swedish heavy/power metallers SABATON have recently unveiled the final artwork and tracklisting of the band’s upcoming album, “Heroes,” which is set to be released on the 16th of May via Nuclear Blast.
