Brutal Assault has announced next confirmed bands:

We are glad to announce that Finnish melodic death metal band CHILDREN OF BODOM has confirmed their appearance at next year’s Brutal Assault Festival! Next confirmed band is British post-metal band JESU and Canadian progressive metalcore band THE AGONIST.

It is Monday and next bunch of newly cofirmed acts for BA 2014 is here. This time with NY Hardcore legend SICK OF IT ALL, British progressive band TESSERACT and Dutch brutal death metallers SEVERE TORTURE.

Brutal Assault is proud to announce that THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT, headed by Canadian multi-instrumentalist Devin Townsend, has been added to the bill for BA 2014!  Another confirmed acts are Canadian technical death metallers GORGUTS and Colombian/USA based black metal band INQUISITION.  More bands coming soon.

Children Of Bodom, The Devin Townsend Project, Obscura, Septicflesh To Tour North America

Finnish metallers CHILDREN OF BODOM will embark on a North American headlining tour in late June. Main support on the month-long trek will come from THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT, with openers OBSCURA and SEPTICFLESH rotating positions each night.

“We are psyched to see all of our friends in North America and to play our new songs live for all of the BODOM maniacs,” commented CHILDREN OF BODOM guitarist/vocalist Alexi Laiho. “Get ready to throw it down!”

So far only one date has been released: July 19 at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts.
