HARDCORE SUPERSTAR Release Video for Album Title Track ‘Abrakadabra’, New Album Out Now

After releasing five singles to enormous critical acclaim resulting in over 1,6 million Spotify streams, numerous sold out shows and in excess of 400 000 views on YouTube, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR have now unleashed their highly anticipated new album Abrakadabra. Already hailed as a contender for album of the year by numerous magazines and reviewers, this is uncomplicated, Rock N’ Roll escapism and entertainment at its best!

Building on the momentum and huge success of their 2018 album “You Can’t Kill My Rock N’ Roll” the band were inspired and enthusiastically started writing songs for Abrakadabra whilst still out on tour. Connecting with so many fans, old and new helped to influence the shape and sound of the new record and the decision was made early on to once again work with Johan Reiven, who was responsible for production duties on the bands ‘Black Album’. Adde states:

IRON MAIDEN’s Bruce Dickinson To Work On Solo Album After Spoken Word Shows With Roy Z

Bruce Dickinson to continue working on solo album after his spoken word tour. Dickinson said this during the question-and-answer portion of his March 23, 2022 spoken-word show at MTelus in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. As reported by  The Metal Voice video below.

During the Q and A he said, “It’s been something like 14 years since the last solo album. So the problem is when I did the last chunk of writing for the solo album before the Book of Souls Tour, obviously. In 2015 we made the album (Iron Maiden Book of Souls). 2016 I had Cancer, 2017 we played catch up to all the stuff we did before. Then 2018-2019. Then this stupid pandemic decided to ruin it up, so there was nothing we could do then. So now we are revisiting it and when I get done with these spoken word shows I’m going back to LA and we are working on it three weeks and then I’m working with Maiden. Roy Z will be working on the instrumental parts. The eventually hopefully this year or next year we should have it finished. When it goes out that is another question.”

Bruce will hit the road with Iron Maiden for a new North American  “Legacy Of The Beast” tour in September 2022.

Symphonic death metal masters SEPTICFLESH have revealed a new video for their magnificent new single“Neuromancer”. The track thunders along with a fierce groove whilst allowing for flourishes of otherworldly atmosphere to permeate the seemingly impenetrable wall of sound.

Guitarist, vocalist and lyricist Sotiris Anunnaki V. comments “A technologically advanced society, where morals decline and crime thrives, is the “stage” of this song. The main character is suffering from severe neural damage. In order to receive a cure, and be able to physically reconnect to the global network, he accepts an obscure hacking mission. After all, the virtual reality data space, to him, is more like home.

The skeleton of the song was structured upon the 12 string guitar. The main melody and the various emotional tones of the song, were crafted upon this more organic-sounding instrument. Then, after arrangement decisions were taken, the song turned out the way you hear it. Besides the strings, brass, and other standard orchestra sections used, a mandolin takes a lead role preparing for the climax of the addictive chorus and the ultra-heavy main riff. Also, there is a more theatrical interaction with the various vocal styles within our arsenal in this song.”

On the new song, the band combines each member’s strengths to form a powerful future hit – a song that once again underlines POWERWOLF’s status as one of the leading bands in the genre!
