Industrial-tinged extreme metal pioneers, FEAR FACTORY will release their tenth studio album Aggression Continuum on June 18th via Nuclear Blast, just in time for the band’s 30th anniversary. Today, the band releases the visualizer video for the second single, “Fuel Injected Suicide Machine” which can be seen here: https://nblast.de/FearFactory-FISM-YT

Dino Cazares comments, “I can’t wait for everyone to hear this high octane ripping song, it’s based on a character called the Nightrider from one of my all-time favorite movies ‘Mad Max’.
Born with a steering wheel in his hand and lead in his foot, he is the Nightrider, the Fuel Injected Suicide Machine. Remember him when you look at the night sky.”

Pre-order Aggression Continuum here: www.fearfactory.com
Pre-save the album on Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer here: nblast.de/FearFactory-AC

Aggression Continuum features guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder Dino Cazares; drummer Mike Heller; and former vocalist, lyricist, and co-founder Burton C. Bell. It was produced and engineered by Damien Rainaud (DRAGONFORCE, ONCE HUMAN), with keyboards by Igor Khoroshev (ex-YES), and programming on two songs from longtime collaborator Rhys Fulber (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY). The album also featured additional keyboards handled by Max Karon and Giuseppe Bassi. Aggression Continuum was mixed by A-list rock and metal producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TRIVIUM), who also mixed the album’s critically-acclaimed predecessor, Genexus. The artwork for the album was created by Francesco Artusato.

Recently, the band released the music video for the first single, “Disruptor”. Watch the video, directed by Riivata Visuals, here: https://nblast.de/FF-Disruptor-YT

Below is the Aggression Continuum tracklisting:
1.            Recode
2.            Disruptor
3.            Aggression Continuum
4.            Purity
5.            Fuel Injected Suicide Machine
6.            Collapse
7.            Manufactured Hope
8.            Cognitive Dissonance

10.          End Of Line

FEAR FACTORY records are cinematic in scope; sonic landscapes, echoing the dystopian post-apocalyptic futures found in classic sci-fi literature and films, from Ray Bradbury to Blade Runner. Aggression Continuum, the tenth studio album, is the culmination of three decades of unforgettable songs, performances, and forward-thinking storytelling concepts, while simultaneously rebooting FEAR FACTORY onto a brilliant and excitingly unpredictable new path. Like the liquid metal T-1000 in the Terminator franchise or the Academy-Award winning reboot of Mad Max, Aggression Continuum is a turning point where what “was” transforms into what will be. It’s FEAR FACTORY’s own Fury Road.

EARTHLESS Release New Live Album “Live In The Mojave Desert”

San Diego-based heavy psych rock trio EARTHLESS have released a new record, “Live In The Mojave Desert,” today via Nuclear Blast (digital) and Giant Rock Records (physical). Inspired by Pink Floyd’s “Live at Pompeil,” the album was recorded live and filmed throughout day and night in the natural amphitheater of California’s Mojave Desert.

“Having the opportunity to set up out in the desert and play how we do was one of the best experiences ever actually,” says EARTHLESS drummer Mario Rubalcaba. “Adding to it the Mad Alchemy liquid lights and the surroundings made for a very satisfying day/night of jamming. Thankful for Giant Rock Records preserving the night by filming and recording this. I hope people can enjoy the release as much as we did doing it.”

Watch a video trailer below featuring four minutes excerpted of EARTHLESS’ 21-minute-long song “Sonic Prayer” below.

“In October 2020 we filmed and recorded five bands in four days, deep in the deep sand and iconic rocks of the desert,” shares LIVE IN THE MOJAVE DESERT producer RYAN JONES. “It was a major undertaking to bring this many people and this much gear out to a very remote desert location. Including the bands, we had 25 people onsite daily. With only one road in, everyone and all the gear had to come up a half mile long hill of deep sand–30 miles from nowhere. We had to hire local desert guys with huge 4×4 pickups to help. The Mad Alchemy Liquid Light Show projected on a four-story high, double pyramid of boulders and we had a crack squad of filmmakers, photographers and recording engineers there to capture it all. It was insane, but it was worth it to see our favorite bands play again!”

“Live In The Mojave Desert” Tracklist:

  1. Violence Of The Red Sea (16:52)
  2. Sonic Prayer (21:02)
  3. Lost In The Cold Sun (39:09)

Norwegian Death Metal Vets BLOOD RED THRONE Join Nuclear Blast

After nearly 2 1/2 decades of death metal dominance with 9 cataclysmic albums in their arsenal, Norway’s veteran annihilators BLOOD RED THRONE have officially joined the roster of Nuclear Blast!

Commenting on the signing, founding guitarist Daniel “Død” Olaisen states:“Becoming a part of the NB family has been a huge goal for me for years. I always meant BRT deserved better after all these years and when I got to meet Gerardo Martinez (U.S.A. General Manager) and Oscar Martinez (Product Manager) when we toured the US 11 years ago, I kept in touch with them and tried to convince signing us even back then. Years went and albums were released and I never gave up. I knew we had a real masterpiece this time with the new album, and Gerardo simply could not let it go this time. When he sent over the contract, both the band and especially myself were super excited and satisfied. Finally, after 10 years of trying! This band has so much potential and what better option than Nuclear Blast to team up with!”

BLOOD RED THRONE spent most of their Covid-quarantine writing riffs and recently wrapped recording their highly anticipated 10th album that’s due out later this year.

Olaisen adds:
“BRT still delivers quality death metal, but even after writing the first song, we felt that we were on to something new this time. Of course, it’s still death metal, but some of the riffs and arrangements introduce something new for us at least. 10 bad ass tracks wrapped in a killer production, we really can’t wait to show our old fans as well as gaining new ones. Death metal will never die and we will keep going til the end!”

BLOOD RED THRONE are:
Daniel “Død” Olaisen | Guitar
Yngve “Bolt” Christiansen | Vocals
Ivan “Meathook” Gujic | Guitar
Stian “Gunner” Gundersen | Bass
Freddy Bolsø | Drums
