Organizers of Germany’s Summer Breeze Open Air – which will take place from August 15th to 17th at its usual location in Dinkelsbühl – have launched their annual advent calendar where a new band (or bands!) will be announced each day until December 24th. Today’s (December 13th) bands are ENSLAVED and VAN CANTO.

HATEBREED‘s new album, The Divinity Of Purpose is set to be released on January 29th in the US/Canada via Razor & Tie and on January 25th in the UK/Europe via Nuclear Blast. The band have just released an album trailer talking about the cover artwork below:

The Divinity Of Purpose was co-produced by Hatebreed, Zeuss (SUICIDE SILENCE, ALL THAT REMAINS, Shadows Fall) and Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD, AVENGED SEVENFOLD). This is the band’s sixth album to date.
Hatebreed is Jamey Jasta (vocals), Chris Beattie (bass), Wayne Lozinak (guitar), Frank Novinec (guitar) and Matthew Byrne (drums).
Hatebreed recently announced their first official tour in support of The Divinity Of Purpose. The 2013 Tour is slated to kick off on January 26th in Flint, MI and run through February 17th in Amityville, NY. Also confirmed on the tour will be special guests and label mates, SHADOWS FALL along with support acts, DYING FETUS and THE CONTORTIONIST. VIP meet n’ greet packages and pre-sale tickets will be available Thursday, November 29th at 10 AM PST at Hatebreed.com.

Hatebreed also announces a special Record Release Signing & Concert event in Los Angeles, CA on February 1st at The Roxy.
