CRYSTAL VIPER Release New Video Clip, New Album Out Next Week

Polish female fronted Heavy Metallers CRYSTAL VIPER released a brand new video clip entitled “When The Sun Goes Down”, which can be seen below:

CRYSTAL VIPER are returning after a 4 year absence, with a brand new concept album entitled “Queen Of The Witches”, which will be released on February 17, 2017, on AFM RECORDS. The album has been produced by Bart Gabriel (CIRITH UNGOL, HEXX, MYTHRA). The album’s cover artwork has been created by the legendary German artist, Andreas Marschall (RUNNING WILD, BLIND GUARDIAN, OBITUARY). “Queen Of The Witches” also features three special guests: the MANOWAR co-founder and guitar hero Ross The Boss, and no less legendary Jeff Dunn aka Mantas of VENOM / VENOM INC., will appear with guitar solos in two of the songs. Except that, in one of the songs fans will hear a duet of Marta Gabriel and Steve Bettney, vocalist of the NWoBHM cult heroes SARACEN.

“Queen Of The Witches” will be available as limited edition vinyl LP, CD, and digital download. The LP and CD versions will include different bonus tracks: the CD version will include cover version of the GRIM REAPER classic “See You In Hell”, while the vinyl LP will include cover of the EXCITER classic “Long Live The Loud”. On February 18, 2017, CRYSTAL VIPER will play an exclusive headlining comeback show at the Heavy Metal’s Calling Festival in Munich, Germany, and one month later the band will go on the co-headlining European Tour with BLOODBOUND, during which they will visit Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Czech Republic and Hungary.

Polish Heavy Metallers CRYSTAL VIPER have released a brand new video clip to the first single off the new album, entitled “The Witch Is Back”. Watch it below.

The video clip has been produced by the Grupa 13 production house, which most recently also did the KREATOR, BEHEMOTH and AMON AMARTH videos. “The Witch Is Back” single is available as an online stream on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services, and except that the digital download is available on iTunes and Amazon. Fans that will decide to preorder the digital version of the forthcoming new album, will be able to immediately download “The Witch Is Back” single for free.

CRYSTAL VIPER are back! The Polish Heavy Metallers are returning after a 4 year absence, which was caused by the health issues relating to the band’s front woman and founder, Marta Gabriel. The comeback album entitled “Queen Of The Witches”, is probably a perfect Heavy Metal release, as except being a concept effort about the witches and true evil, includes all the elements that fans of the genre are looking for. Great melodies, impressive vocal lines, classic sounding riffs and harmonies, catchy refrains and pounding drums. Headbanging hymns, speed metal monsters, and power ballads. All of this with a powerful and very classic sound production by Bart Gabriel (CIRITH UNGOL, SACRED STEEL, MYTHRA), that refers to the iconic and best Heavy Metal albums ever made, and coupled with an amazing cover artwork painted by Andreas Marschall (RUNNING WILD, BLIND GUARDIAN, KREATOR).

As it’s already a tradition that CRYSTAL VIPER pays a tribute to the classic ’80s Metal acts of which legacy they proudly continue, it couldn’t be different this time, and the band invited several special guests to take part in the recordings. CRYSTAL VIPER are back! The Polish Heavy Metallers are returning after a 4 year absence, which was caused by the health issues relating to the band’s front woman and founder, Marta Gabriel, and which placed the future of CRYSTAL VIPER into question (last year Marta underwent surgery of her nasal and facial sinuses). “The witch is back” however, sounding stronger, heavier and louder than ever before…!

On February 17, 2017, AFM RECORDS will release CRYSTAL VIPER‘s new concept album entitled “Queen Of The Witches”. The album, which will be available as a limited edition vinyl LP, CD and digital download, has been produced by Bart Gabriel – producer known for his collaboration with acts such as CIRITH UNGOL, MYTHRA and SACRED STEEL (and within their private lives, Marta’s husband), and engineered and mixed by Mariusz Pietka (JACK STARR’S BURNING STARR, LONEWOLF, MORTICIAN).

The album’s cover artwork has been created by the legendary German artist, Andreas Marschall (RUNNING WILD, BLIND GUARDIAN, KREATOR). The first single from the new album will be entitled “The Witch Is Back”, and will be available in December. On February 18, 2017, the band will play an exclusive headlining live show in Munich, Germany, at the Heavy Metal Calling Festival, which will be an official release party for the new album.

In other news Marta Gabriel, the band’s singer and guitarist who has once again written all of the songs on the new album, recently joined the ESP GUITARS family. In addition, all of the members of CRYSTAL VIPER have signed an endorsement deal with DEAN MARKLEY.
