French black metallers GLORIOR BELLI are going back to their roots on new album “Sundown (The Flock That Welcomes)”, and today they have posted an advance stream of the entire record. Listen to it via the link below, before it’s out on May 6th via Agonia Records.

GLORIOR BELLI commented: “The production is by far one of the best that Glorior Belli ever had. “Drums & Bass are absolutely devilish and placed under the spotlight. Everything was recorded, mixed and mastered in our own studios, having an absolute control as usual over the sound. The guitar work overall will bring you back to the origins of Glorior Belli. Conceptually wise, Sundown (The Flock That Welcomes) will smother you with darkness and light, both stuffed down your throat with the same rage that could be heard on Glorior Belli’s ealier records. When the Night is coming down on you, will you find a way through the dark? A record for the very few of us who truly embrace the desire to break from the cosmic prison”.

Steadily climbing the ladder of artistic development, the French band GLORIOR BELLI has developed a very unique sound and image in the often stiff frames found within the black metal genre. Descriptions such as “Avant-garde black metal bluesmen” (Pitchfork) or “bluesy doom-sludge” (Metal Sucks) are only two sides of the same coin, but the beast can wear many faces. While the band’s last album “Gators Rumble, Chaos Unfurls” (2013) was a combination of southern stylistics and crushing heaviness, its upcoming successor “Sundown (The Flock That Welcomes)” will reveal a new chapther in this unusual relationship of genres, only this time, the emphasis is on the black metal side.

The band is led by Infestvvs (aka Billy Bayou), since its inception in Paris in 2002, who currently takes care of all instruments. He is endorsed by Randall Amplifiers and will be accompanied on stage by fellow Luciferian silhouettes known as “The Innominati”.

With less than two weeks left before the release of GLORIOR BELLI‘s new album “Sundown (The Flock That Welcomes)”, the French avant-garde one-man black metal band has joined forces with Decibel Magazine, to unveil a new song, “Satanists Out Of Cosmic Jail”. It’s available for listening at this location.

GLORIOR BELLI announced a return to their black metal roots on “Sundown (The Flock That Welcomes)”, which is set to be released on May 6th via Agona Records.

“Satanists Out Of Cosmic Jail” is the third song to be revealed from the new album. The first one, which is also the title track, can be listened to here, and the second revealed song is available at this location.

French avant-garde black metallers GLORIOR BELLI are streaming a new song from their upcomoing album “Sundown (The Flock That Welcomes)”, which drops on May 6th via Agonia Records. The track is titled “Lies-Strangled Skies” and it is available for streaming via Bandcamp, at this location.

“Lies Strangled Skies” is the second song to be revealed from the new album. The first one, which is also the title track, can be listened to here.

MEGADETH’s previous GMM show in 2012 blew everyone away. The band of singer/guitarist Dave Mustaine has a proud history and ‘Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying’, ‘Rust in Peace’ and ‘Countdown to Extinction’ are all landmark thrash albums. Mustaine has really come into his own in recent years, a fact illustrated by Megadeth’s 14th studio album ‘Super Collider’. The new kick-ass album is a worthy addition to Megadeth’s impressive catalogue and is one of 14 excellent reasons why the kings of speed metal should close the day’s proceedings on main stage 2 on Sunday 29th June.

This year, the GMM air will once again be rife with cries of SLAYER! The evil of Slayer has no boundaries and they show no mercy! These American thrash legends need no introduction because their perpetual hate offensive has been claiming souls worldwide for over thirty years now. They say that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and that also goes for Slayer. The band suffered a crushing blow last year when the angel of death sent riffmeister and founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman south of heaven but in 2014 Slayer are more brutal and merciless than ever. Fuelled by a newfound rage, battering-ram drumming, screaming solos and relentless riffs, the Californian thrash machine will bring an onslaught no one can survive.

Following a number of tumultuous years at the start of the millennium, ANTHRAX rallied with the 2011 release of their best album in years, one with a title that leaves nothing to the imagination: ‘Worship Music’. Live on stage Anthrax is an indestructible force and thanks to the Big 4 shows with their brethren of Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica, Anthrax reclaimed their rightful place at the top of the thrash food chain.

The multi-talented ROB ZOMBIE started out as the frontman for White Zombie. When White Zombie disbanded, he built an impressive solo career and also made a name for himself as the director of several acclaimed horror flicks. White Zombie was mainly successful in the early ‘90s. Records like 1993’s ‘La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1’ and the platinum-certified ‘Astro-Creep: 2000’ are still as exciting today as at the time of their release. Unfortunately, the latter album also heralded the demise of the band. Rob immediately focused on a solo career and in 1998 ‘Hellbilly Deluxe’ became a smash hit. The ferocious-looking frontman continued to put out high-quality, horror-inspired records that carried his unique heavy/groovy signature, with 2013’s ‘Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor’ as the latest highlight.
