Swedish trio GRAND MAGUS will be the leaders of the tasty pack: exceptional vocalist JB and his boys were real doom merchants in the early days of their career with their self-titled debut (2001) and “Monument” (2003) – but on “Iron Will” (2008) and “Hammer Of The North” (2010) they decided to sell their souls to classic and unadulterated heavy metal that would even make Ronnie James Dio proud! Tobias Sammet’s project AVANTASIA are the latest act confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival 2013.
Sammet promises an even more celebrity-filled show, which says a lot since previous performances have included such names as Kai Hansen, Michael Kiske, Jørn Lande and Bob Catley. This will be Avantasia’s only show in Sweden for the summer of 2013.
Sweden Rock Festival 2013 will take place June 5th – 8th in Sölvesborg, Sweden.
