BATTLE BEAST: Announce Headlining European Tour For Late 2015

Finland’s heavy metal heroes BATTLE BEAST, who earlier this year toured Europe extensively alongside SABATON and DELAIN, are now returning for a second lengthy tour supporting their chart-topping third album “Unholy Savior”.

As their first full headline tour, “Unholy Savior” European Tour 2015 is a beast in itself, spanning 28 shows in 13 countries. Starting from a festival performance at Metal Hammer Paradise on November 13th, the tour will see the band spreading their kick-ass metal all the way to mid-December.

As their guests for this tour BATTLE BEAST are happy to welcome Germany’s traditional metal force ALPHA TIGER! Another support act will be released later this autumn.

First Ever RIOT Tribute Album To Be Released This Week

“Thunder And Steel Down Under” – first ever RIOT tribute album, will be released this Friday, on April 24, 2015, via Skol Records. Compilation has been produced by Bart Gabriel (Sacred Steel, Crystal Viper, Jack Starr’s Burning Starr), and will include Riot classics peformed by bands and artists such as: Axel Rudi Pell, Crystal Viper, Attacker, Alpha Tiger, October 31, Savage Master, Night Demon, Dexter Ward and others. The CD will be limited to only 1000 copies worldwide. Income from the album will be given to Sir Tony Reale – father of the late Riot guitarist and founding member, Mark Reale.

As it was mentioned on VH1’s “That Metal Show”, RIOT are one of the innovators of Metal music in America and beyond. Their albums such as “Fire Down Under”, “Rock City”, “Narita”, “Restless Breed” or “Born In America” are the classics of Heavy Metal, and their ’88 LP “Thundersteel” helped to shape a genre which we know as Power Metal. Band’s history has been marked by bunch of tragic events: Rhett Forrester who fronted Riot between 1981 and 1986 was killed in 1994, the original vocalist Guy Speranza (in Riot between 1975 and 1981) lost his battle with cancer in 2003, and band’s founding member and leader Mark Reale (who was also the only one constant Riot member since the beginning of the band) left us in 2012, after suffering Crohn’s disease.

The band left 14 studio albums, and after Mark’s Reale death, remaining Riot members decided to continue his legacy and after changing the name to Riot V, returned with phenomenal album titled “Unleash The Fire”. “Thunder And Steel Down Under” is not a usual compilation with bunch of cover songs. It’s a celebration of the Riot and Mark Reale legacy, and a homage paid by both American and European bands and musicians, who were influenced by this premier act.

On September 19 & 20, 2014, the Hamburg Metal Dayz will once more bring heavy music to town with two days of Metal concerts, business gatherings and a forums for fans & musicians.

Confirmed as headliners are German Melodic Metal masters Edguy, whose European tour will kick off on Friday, Sept. 19th in Hamburg. Not only playing will be party thrashers Tankard, in addition they will read from their biography „Life in Beermuda“. They are joined by Heavy Rock kings Motorjesus and Alpha Tiger, purveyors of Metal in its most classic form. Also on the bill is hot-shot comedian Bembers. Due to huge demand at the last Hamburg Metal Dayz, visitors can even get the logo of the Hamburg Metal Dayz or the Wacken Open Air tattooed by an artist from Classic Tattoo Berlin – for free! Every day, one lucky visitor will even be able to take home a brandnew Epiphone guitar.

Not only will bands ranging from established veterans to hot up-and-comers play at the Markthalle, there will also be signing sessions, readings and exhibitions for the fans‘ entertainment. Aspiring rockstars can learn a trick or two in musicians‘ workshops, while music business insiders will share their knowledge in panels and roundtable discussions. The Hamburg Metal Dayz, taking place during the Reeperbahn Festival, will also be a meeting point for music business professionals from the Metal world and beyond.

ALPHA TIGER: New Single “Lady Liberty” Released

German heavy metallers ALPHA TIGER just wrapped a very successful 2013, with the album “Beneath The Surface” via Century Media Records, a string of festival appearances (Wacken Festival, Bang Your Head etc.) and finally in support of QUEENSRYCHE.

Now they start an even more busy year with the release of the 12“ Vinyl Maxi, titled “Lady Liberty”, on February 28th through vinyl specialist HIGH ROLLER RECORDS (under exclusive license from Century Media). The release will be strictly limited to just 500 copies in two different colours and contains three songs. It will be supported by a new video, available two weeks prior to the record release.

Peter Langforth, mastermind of ALPHA TIGER, comments on the concept of the EP: „The world is facing dramatic changes. More and more, governments and the people are talking different languages; this rift is being felt in all layers of society. In times where financial powers pull the strings and mass media are used to manipulate, deceive and distract from the real problems, it’s getting more and more important that the people express their own interests on the streets. „Lady Liberty“ is our expressive statement against a „Big Brother“ society. The song is full of energy and straight to the point. What remains are our pure emotions and aggressions against this unjust society. The fitting sound was created in the Area 51 studio by Tommy Newton, who gave the song a very powerful mix. The B Side contains the song „Men or Machines“, originally published on our first album, and completely re-arranged and extended by two minutes. „Child in the Haze“ completes the 12“ and is a rerecording from our Satin Black’s days, originally written in 2008.“
