RABENSCHREY combine myths, Folk, Pagan, and Metal into a style that is both powerful and mystical, which they have christened METALALTER.

Founded in 2000, they resurrected after an eleven-year hiatus for their 25th anniversary: old songs, newly forged, carried by the voice of Donar von Rabenschrey and the riffs of Wayk the string smith.

“With ‘Letzte Reise‘ – Last Journey -, we are releasing a powerful ballad about farewells, longing, and the path to Valhalla—a song full of emotion, strength, and certainty—no farewell is forever.”

👉 Created by two musicians who work together perfectly:
• Donar von Rabenschrey (Peter Wohlers): Founder, singer, composer, lyricist. His signature style has always shaped the work of RABENSCHREY: a mixture of raw poetry, mythological depth, and black humor.

• Wayk (Wladlen Schoener):
Guitarist with international experience – permanent live member of Projekt Pitchfork, part of the Eisbrecher crew – occasionally also on stage as a musician, touring with Joachim Witt for the first time this fall. He has also worked as a lecturer at the British Institute of Modern Music.
